That seems awfully cheap, the oil and filter were ÂŁ190 alone if using the correct oil.. thats with discount too
Are you sure they used the right stuff?
crazy isn’t it! I havent been above 3500 revs or 100mph yet, so looking forward to slowly building that up as per book, but you can never go wrong with an oil change. I can kind of understand the 2 year thing but not on the first oil change.
Either way I think it’s a good idea to do. One of the US blokes said his oil had metal filings in after 1200 miles. No way I’d want it in there for longer than that. Seems to be a lot of conflicting information.
In my opinion yearly oil changes is never a bad thing
Hi All,
Going to get the "run in" service done next week. Looked online and it indicated ÂŁ375!!
Have they really adopted BMW prices or have i missed something?
Edit: Apparently them supplying me the oil & filter to change will void the warranty on the car..
Most of us in the UK opted for PPF also. I personally wouldn’t want a matte car to be spoiled by loads of stone chips.
I think Toyota are probably concerned that people will try and remove the film themselves, damage the paint and then claim on their warranty. If you have the dealer who...
tempted by this too - thing is though even though it can be put back to standard - apparently it triggers a fault code which can't be wiped. Meaning that if toyota wanted to delve deep into a warranty claim they would see that the ECU had been tampered with.
In my opinion the car is too quiet...
Going to drop them another line today. I know - when i tried to get insured with Toyota insurance, the person i was dealing with didn't even know what car i was talking about.
Still toying wether to downpipe and map the car though.
Getting a bit stupid now in my opinion. I could go out and get carbon inlays made within a week. Yet Toyota still haven't got anything.
Cant help but think the whole thing has been a bit of a sham. Receiving the incorrect certificates as well saying "Pro Edition" or whatever it was, and black...
Hey guys,
how's it going? seems quiet on the UK front so just seeing how people have been getting on with their Sup
Mines sat on about 600 miles in a carcoon right now waiting for April or so. Plan to do a trip to Germany in it May hopefully
interestingly i haven't seen another one in the...
one thing i found on the test drives etc (haven't taken my car over 3k yet) was that i ran out of puff 5800 upwards.
How is that now? Does it pull to the redline?
Toyota is aware, I reported the issue when they arrived
believe they are having new ones made!! Fingers crossed they are correct this time
what an a absolute shambles
Not meaning to sound like an ar*e so i do apologies. But what is the point if it all it really does is change the tone?
Alot of money for a slight difference
it wasn't much better in the UK, people who placed the deposit heard pretty much nothing until "by the way your car is here". Even the dealers themselves had no idea when cars were arriving or what to even do with them.
Calling customer services is like they don't even know what the car is...
Mines fully PPFd and ceramic coated so I just used a PH neutral snow foam and the same stuff works as a soap too then rinsed off and dried with an airblower and soft towel
