A90 Edition Owners Thread

Wife picked up parcel from Post office, good job she went in CHR due to the size of the box.

Got a CoA that says Premium edition with black leather, letter and a print showing 1/90.

Would have thought it would have at least said A90 Launch edition.

Haven’t reviewed other details to see how compares with A90 specification from Toyota website.

Dash insert is on mainland Europe versions similar to the US launch edition one but says "1/90" and at the test drive day at least, I was told we would be getting some sort of certificate of authenticity for the first 300 cars to acknowledge we were the first. I haven't heard any more about either of these, my dealer confirmed the dash insert is not standard on UK A90 Editions though.

Just looked, I did get them! Can't believe I missed it, thought the little cardboard bit was just part of the packaging to stop the envelope crushing in on the photo or something. Thank goodness I still had everything in the envelope!

Made my day getting them I was the same wondered what it was still in the envelope.

Some bad news though, just tried them in the car, looks like it is exactly the same as the LHD version so they don't fit right... The "A90 Edition" one seems to kinda sit in the top one, but the other doesn't sit at all. I then placed them facing inwards as if in LHD, and perfect fit...

Toyota is aware, I reported the issue when they arrived

believe they are having new ones made!! Fingers crossed they are correct this time

Dash inserts, don't remember seeing them, despite size of box which has now been recycled, still got envelope though.

What size are the dash inserts? although if they're having RHD ones made I'll inspect the contents of the next box/envelope thoroughly next time.

The dash inserts are inside the envelope, not in the box so you should be ok!

Also anyone know if there's any touch up paint or anything for if we get any stone chips etc? Would be interesting to see how well it works

They are speaking with their team as even the certs are subbed out weirdly

Dash Inserts found, will probably include the 1/90 one with the CoA, if and when I get it framed.

Spoke to Toyota customer relations about both CoA and Inserts, as a90-tay reported, they are aware of both errors and are in discussions with Toyota Europe as to what to do next.

I did suggest that both should display 1/24 since we're the only one's, in europe, that have RHD vehicles.

It remains to be seen if the correct items will be sent out in the future.

No, only 1 of inserts say 1/90, Certificate just says it's a Premium Grade Edition detailing specification of the vehicle.
