Engine bay aesthetics, along with being able to just drive up to an e85 station and pump.
I just want to know if it’s possible to do so. Would the turbo be at the maximum strain? Or do I have wiggle room?
Yes, it’s unlocked. Power goals are met, I am happy with the power. I’m not concerned about gaining power, more so about losing power.
The goal is to maintain the power I have with the PI set up while staying on stock turbo, if it’s even possible. If it’s not, then I’ll upgrade the turbo.
The...
I am going to upgrade the intake manifold, lpfp, add PI, so I can run e85 with optimal boost (I know it’s not worth it for the money, so please don’t tell me to go another route).
I am currently making 480 whp on e50. By going e85, will I be technically making more power, less power, or the...
When is it time to build the trans?
The only intake that works with the 900 is the Burger Intake. And it’s so ugly lol. I’m probably going 800 even if I can’t get the t51r.
Yes, turn down the torque to avoid an upgraded trans. This however adds on to the idea if you even need to upgrade the turbo if you don’t want to upgrade the trans.
I was debating an 800 or 900 myself. (Still am). For me, main components/concerns is that the 900 is a well made turbo, but isn’t...
I'm in a similar boat. I want to run e85, but I am coming from flex fuel. I am tired of mixing.
So talking to my shop, they suggested I get an upgraded manifold, with all the supporting mods (Reflex, LPFP) and a retune.
They also highly suggest a turbo upgrade because the OEM turbo would be...
Yeah, I am trying to set and plan, which is why I'm trying to learn and understand, objectively speaking.
More hp isn't my primary goal and I honestly think of hp as a secondary benefit. I am on flex fuel because CA 91 is ass. I hate mixing, so I want the build to be able to run e85 without...
Great info. Appreciate the explanations guys.
So how is PI cheaper? If you do go PI, even with the plate, I am under the impression you are still going to want to upgrade the fuel pumps.
what additional things are needed for DI?
The thread isn't helpful. Lots of "might as well do PI" or clowning on going DI. Some people have gone DI and have said it's been good. I just want to be well informed on both sides of it.
So I've been looking at threads and most people just seem to talk so badly about DI because of price.
Ignoring price, is DI truly "worse" than PI? Is DI more reliable than PI?
Just seems to be a lot of differing views, opinions, thoughts, just trying to get some clarification on 2025!
What do shops/brands expect to receive in return when they do partnerships/sponsorships?
Seems if you don't have a huge social media following, there isn't much to be gained for them.
How does one even approach a shop/brand to start something up?
