Can just barely hear it, I don't have this issue on my Supra. Other than brake pad squeak, the only thing I can think of is clutch pedal mechanism squeak (is the noise coming from interior?), clutch master cylinder (I had similar noise on my 86, had to lube the plunger which was accessible from...
Give it time, you will get used to it. One other thing I like about the slammer is the size, fits my hand way better than the stock knob of both my previous 86 and Supra, its like they were designed for tiny Japanese hands.
Suggestion, based on my experience with my previous car which was a 2014 Toyota 86 GTS, replace shift knob with heavier one (Raceseng Slammer, 1.4lbs), it fixed all issues I had with the feel of that gearbox...
I think I have a small tyre leak, this morning my TPMS read 34 psi on 3 tyres, but the front RH tyre was 32 psi. I inflated all tyres to 34 psi yesterday, what do I do sir?
Hi there, didn't want to start another thread, so instead circle back on this topic. Totally agree with the above post as it's my experience also.
Last Friday I test drove my friend's September 2023 build Auto GR Supra GTS and I was surprised how much better it sounds compared to my August 2023...
Yes I am aware of that, but his reference to the Resurrection as "some bullshit story of a dead guy coming back to life" more explicitly offends Christians (like myself) because this hits at the heart Christianity, Easter is the most important event in the Christian Calendar.
It ain't a bullshit story d$ckhead, get your facts straight Zachary. I'm sure you wouldn't be so offensive if The Prophet Muhammad or a Muslim event was the topic??
Not done this myself as I only just got my car, but I've read you will need BimmerCode to code the Battery Capacity & Battery Type, then use BimmerLink to actually register the new battery after coding. Now I am not sure if you need to use BimmerCode if you are replacing the OEM battery with...
Yes, I noticed 2 BimmerCode updates came through in the last week or so. Anyway, I did the iDrive soft reset and no change, ASD still not active. Might try the hard reboot per Chris's Bimmers instructions for iDrive 6.
I saw a YouTuber "Chris's Bimmers" instruction and apparently iDrive 6 or less, you supposed to hold the "mode" button + "volume" knob or "eject" button, but he said don't quote him and he was planning to show in a future video (which I think hasn't happened).
An update on my ASD saga (which is still not working), I used the Z4 option to read the ECU, like the Supra option, it states current condition is "Unassigned Value". I used expert mode and had a look at the various settings and they look normal (based on the "Bimmercode for Dummies" default...
