According to apex a 275/30 should fit the front without a spacer with the offset you have. I have the same wheel and plan to run that size CRSs which are beefy. I have a bit more camber so hoping I will not rub
Alcohol tends to cool things down in addition to the obvious knock resistance. I figured there are gains to be had as long as there is headroom on the fueling side. Nice to hear you used 3 gallons without an issue. You must have had close to E30 in there. I will let someone else do the math.
No issues with the JB+ other than that one mil. Anyone try adding a gallon or two of E85 to a tank with the JB+ ? I think there could be more performance to be had. I read a thread where up to 30% E85 was used with the stock DME
Likely yes along with the cold dense air with the change of season. It happened at start-up when the throttle body is usually open just a crack. The JB+ is a variable resistor that increases boost at all times no mapping. Too much boost was detected for a throttle body that was barely open. It...
I ran at max setting all summer. In the fall upon startup after refueling I got a CEL. The code was "Implausible MAF for Throttle position" which I assume was boost on start-up. It cleared on its own and did not leave a permanent code in the DME after a few starts. Going in for servicing so...
I plan to run 275 CRSs on a square set of 18x10 ET 30s. The offset is significantly less than OEM so my only concern is rubbing the outside fender. I am at stock height so hopefully this will not be an issue but we will see. BTW, I'm not concerned with extracting every ounce of performance, just...
When I did Skips course at LRP years ago I remember hitting 100MPH thru the downhill in a Formula Dodge open wheel and thinking it was a big deal. Huh times do change.
Interesting to see where you improved and fell behind your previous lap. I like the GoPro footage. Too bad we couldn’t do pic in pic with two views in the Garmin. You really committed on the downhill picking up two tenths at the very end. BTW 145mph is so fast on the front straight, did the car...
Ahhh I thought you may have used two Garmin cameras and just changed the connection. Ok I’ll look into the Proclip. Why bother with the cage when the magnetic mount holds the unit pretty darn tight?
Bryan how did you mount the Garmin just to your right. I am using the window mount far right but wouldnt mind it closer. Also my camera is just below the rear view mirror. How did you mount yours? We all want Razorlab like video content to post lol
I have stock springs and struts and did Eibach front sway bar and later added the rear. I ran all summer on the OEM PSS tires. The car actually felt fine with just the front sway bar but as I got faster, with OEM set-up, really beat up the front left tire. I added camber (Verus) plates and the...
Interesting fact the owner developer at Monticello Ari Straus and I used to do HPDEs together in our Lotus Elise's back in the day. I've been there twice as his guest years back now when it just opened. He was bidding for the F1 US contract but lost out to a grp in TX that proposed building a...
I did Skip at LRP for my lic. Many yrs ago. If you want to become faster on the track the best way by far is a personal coach and seat time on a closed course.
I plan to do ONeil for the rally experience and because I live so close. Auto cross will certainly help you to become familiar with the...
