The plastic trim piece that surrounds the center screen appears to be melting. Has anyone else ever had a similar issue? I am also trying to find this part to order. The main part that includes the whole screen is 86110WAA02 I think.

Not to highjack the thread, but mine are making horrible creaking sounds/pinging when turning the steering wheel at low speeds/not moving. Would the spring silencers solve this? I'm not 100% sure if mine are in the correct spot on the spring. Or could this be the strut bearing issue that...

Somewhere around 1400-1600 first time registration in CO last year

I was told to just clear the codes on the Jb4, and that my logs looked good. I cleared them but haven't driven the car since (snowing). Definitely check out n54tech.com and see if you can post your issue/logs for them to investigate.

Yeah really strange, they had many more Supras come in for the recall after mine with zero issues. Just one of those weird scenarios we'll probably never know why it happened. Glad to be out of the rental car though that's for sure

Update: Got a surprise call that the car was all done - about 6 weeks total. They told me they used a charger while doing the recall and they always use a charger when flashing software. So now I don't know why it was bricked during the flash. Good luck to anyone else that goes through this.

They updated me today saying the part is on national backorder and there's just no ETA whatsoever. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Does anyone know how to go about getting them to buy back the vehicle? Or to have them cover the monthly car payments? Monday will be 30 days.

I posted in the other thread too but mine is now going on week 4 with no eta on when the part will even ship to the dealer. I got Toyota corporate involved saying to start making my car payments for me and that seemed to get them more interested. 2021 untunable Oh but I have a Nissan versa...

A quick update on mine, they specifically have said it is the BDC that they need to replace. My Supra is a 2021 model, post-June 2020 ecu that could not be tuned. At least they gave me a rental car for now.

Just dropped off my 2021 for the recall today and they bricked it. No eta on a new ecu.
