I suppose one could move the existing TPMS sensors between wheels. The set up I have on my current RC and will have when my Supra comes in is to have the factory set of summer tires/wheels and another set of dedicated winter tires/wheels with their own sensors. Unlike the RC, I think the Supra...
Have a favor to ask of those that have their MKV's already (mine won't be here until December/January). What is the measurement from the ground up to the bottom of the nose? I am planning my laser jammer install and the AL Priority TX head has to be mounted at least 22" above the ground...
My A90 will be here in a couple of months. I wanted to go with an 18 X 8 setup so I can use my almost new Michelin X-Ice tires from my RC350. Plus there are more winter tire options in 18 vs 19. Thanks.
I was looking for some 18" x 8" wheels so I could do a square setup with my existing Michelin X-Ice tires. TireRack doesn't show the vehicle yet and I am concerned about wheels clearing the front brakes. Not looking to break the bank as these wheels would only be on about 5 months out of the year.
I've been looking around for 18" wheels also. I'd like to do an 18" x 8" square setup so I can use my existing winter tires. What type of wheels did you get?
I'll be driving mine year round. We don't normally see too much snow accumulation but if we do I have my wife's RX350 I can drive. I have driven my RWD RC350 the last three winters on an 18X8" square set up with Michelin X-Ice and have had no problems at all. I don't care for the handling of...
I appreciate your effort to countermeasure the problem however there is no top of door frame above the driver or passenger window to attach anything to. The door windows are frame less.
Give it a few weeks and I'm sure you'll be able to pick up faux carbon fiber inserts from China on eBay. I don't have my Supra yet but I also thought about putting a GR badge in that space.
I don't have my Supra yet but there is an accessory listed as a "PREFERRED OWNER'S PORTFOLIO". I'll bet that is the leather/pleather cover for the manuals.
You may have thought of this, if not, use a leaf blower if you have access to one. On my RC350 F Sport, the blower really helps get the water from the wheels, grill, etc.
I noticed you had/have a RC350. I've had the RC as well for about 4 years. How would you compare the two? I know the size comparison but in acceleration and overall fit and finish? My Supra won't be here until December so I'm anxiously awaiting it!
Hood/bonnet vent removal
Has anyone attempted to remove any of the blocked off vents yet? There was/is so much controversy about them I was hoping we could put it to rest. I don't have my Supra yet or I would try it myself.

I wanted to start a thread on RD and/or LJ installation how to, tips, tricks, etc. Let's keep out of the "which RD detector is better debate, this detector vs that detector, why don't you just drive the speed limit...lol  etc. This thread could include hardwiring, detector placement...
Congrats on your new Supra! That last picture, taken from above, of the back of the car...wow! Haven't seen any other photos from that angle. Those hips!!! Supra good!!
Yes...You are correct. I guess I looked at it wrong. Looks like I'll need to sell those wheels. Hopefully I can reuse the Michelin X Ice tires. Planning on getting an Absolute Zero premium model so maybe some new black wheels would look good. Thanks for the info.
I certainly appreciate all the responses to my original post. Here is the winter setup I have on my current 16 Lexus RC350 F-Sport: 18-8 O.Z. Racing Omnia with 235/45R18 Michelin X-Ice. My tire guy says he thinks they may be able to work on the Supra. I think my current wheels have a 45 mm...
