My order of preference: Chevron, then Shell, then any Top Tier station.
Chevron did work for BMW long ago (think E30, E36 timeframe) on a chemical to help with the carbon build-up in BMWs. That chemical is called Techron.
I used to have throttle hesitation for a few minutes after a start (cold or warm). After I disconnected the battery (to install JB Plus) and used a battery charger to top off the battery (Noco AGM charger), the throttle hesitation stopped.
I hear you on the inflation bit. Hear me out…
The 350z started at $27,650. (I paid $34,550 MSRP for the 350z Track pre-order back in 2002)
The 370z started at $30,090.
The base price only went up less than $3k between the two
Given the age of the platform and powertrain, where is that $10k...
Looks are subjective. If you want savage geese or crazy chicken or that Scotty guy to decide what looks good and drives good for you, then more power to you. ?
I have no doubt Nissan will sell more Zs - it’s the Altima of sports cars. When supply starts over taking demand at dealer lots, I’m...
Wow, I haven’t used Water Wetter since the 90’s. ?
IIRC, the science behind it is that it’s basically a surfactant that breaks the surface tension of water, so it helps prevent hot pockets of steam from forming in cavitation areas of the cooling system.
If I’d have ongoing rising hot temps...
My first Porsche was a 2004 C4S in Atlas Grey Metallic. I owned it a few months before stumbling across a deal on a 2003 Turbo in Seal Grey. I actually kind of miss the C4S, the 996 C4S is the best looking C4S rear end and AGM is a rare and beautiful color.
Toyota does the same thing. The 5th gen 4Runner is in its 12th production year and it’s chassis is a 4th gen chassis with some small tweaks/reinforcements.
I couldn’t wait any longer for the M/T announcement (then availability), so I bought this 2022 Premium 3.0 with Driver Assist last night as a stop gap. When the M/T is available and if resale values are still strong, then I may trade it in for a M/T.
As usable as 911 back seats. ? I wouldn’t be taking a road-trip in the backseat of a MKIV, but for a run to a restaurant a couple miles away, why not. MKIV probably had more backseat headroom than a 300ZX 2+2.
I feel the same way. Mashing the go-fast pedal is fun. Manually rowing gears adds to the driving pleasure.
Of interesting note, Jason Cammisa feels that the M2 CS is the real successor to the MKIV - power, usable backseat, and manual transmission. Unfortunately, that's 2x the price of a MKV...
Yeah, I saw that ZF recommends fluid and filter change at that interval.
What’s the official word from Toyota? Dealer service depts tend to be ignorant if their staff and techs aren’t trained on that service interval and service.
