You are the man! Thank you so much. That sounds right since I noticed similar behavior even on map 0 logs. (attached to this reply).

Haha, I know I am getting throttle closure based on the log (and how the car is behaving). I don't know how to figure out why. What do you mean look at the throttle plate? Forgive my stupid question. The car has 7k miles and I haven't ever messed with the throttle body. Do you think it is...

I have noticed a lot of 6MT owners installing the JB4 through the usual drivers side firewall approach. Thought everyone should know that the OBD connector for the JB4 comes with plenty of cable to install the JB4 in the passenger side of the car penetrating the firewall through the...
That’s fair. I have used both and haven’t personally run into issues with the wireless adapters but BimmerCode is much faster using the ENET cable. MHD is as well. And it makes me less nervous, ?
Your connection will be more stable and the flash will be quicker using an ENET cable to connect to your iPhone. You need an RJ45 to usb-c or lightning adapter. This is the way.
That’s the exact setup I ran this winter in the midwest. The pilot alpins seemed to handle the snow and kept things sorted for spirited driving when it was just cold. They performed well in rain as well.
Wow, that's interesting. I never even noticed that the beeps from the parking sensors were directional. I'll have to test that out and report back to you. I wonder if that's true for all BMWs or specifical to a particular option. What year was your 3 series? I never really noticed it in my...
I'm happy to report that after replacing my blown fuse #4 in the passenger footwell under the carpet that everything is working properly again. Microphone works and navigation/GPS is working again.
It is always hard for me to tell if theoretical loss in signal quality is actually going to translate to perceivable audio quality loss. Hopefully you can find someone who can offer a similar solution and let us all know. I'm in the Kansas City region if anyone wants to compare systems and has...
I wonder if this results in poor audio quality compared to getting the digital signal from the SDMI25/MOST25 signal. It sounds like they are basically still using the JBL amplifier and then feeding analog speaker level inputs from the JBL/HK amp into the Match UP8DSP. That's interesting and...
Correct. If you wanted to use that amp with the JBL system you would need a MOST25 adaptor that takes the MOST optical signal and converts it to a toslink optical output that interfaces with the amp.

The problem is that once you add that...
Yeah, I replaced the 8" woofers with the 2 ohm Morel versions since the amp can handle that load. If your only concern was the bass I would suggest doing a 10" sub with an amp using line level inputs for the best bang for buck and just leave everything else alone. The 8" woofers have trouble...
