  1. Analysis, Comments & Reactions from the Web about the new Supra

You're certainly in a time and position to go see a doctor...
  2. Analysis, Comments & Reactions from the Web about the new Supra

 Considering the MKIV production stopped 20 years ago, how else would one buy it other than second or third hand. The damn car is 20-25 years old lmao. Thanks for proving my point...
  3. Analysis, Comments & Reactions from the Web about the new Supra

Many don't and many do. The same can be said of these forums.
  4. Analysis, Comments & Reactions from the Web about the new Supra

Seems people are forgetting there will always be a circle jerk around a certain platform on whatever forums you go. You go on SF and people drool about the A80, you come here and people drool about this new car. Almost seems like this new car took the place of the A70.
  5. HKS HiperMax Touring Spring Kit

    FYI link is not working.
  6. Brake Caliper Decals

Mine held up great for 15+ years. Just keep in mind that these are for the A80, so the logo is slightly different. I don't believe he has a thread currently, but I'm fairly certain he has some on hand. His SN is 97Widebody on SF.
  7. Brake Caliper Decals

My buddy has been making those Supra caliper decals since 1999. Not sure which ones you got from eBay, but his hold up great over the years.
  8. Ekanoo Racing A90 supra sneak peek

:puke:Styling wise, a lip spoiler would look better IMO..
  9. The MKIV vs MKV Thread

IMO, they should have just stuck with FT-1 if they chose to go the whole BMW route. I don't think anyone is arguing it's potential, it's the BMW aspect in a "Supra" that simply overrides all that. And of course this car is expected to sell better than the NSX since more people can afford it. The...
  10. The MKIV vs MKV Thread

I'm sure it would be.. but they could have also released it in 2003 when the regulations were less strict, not release it at all, or call it something else. Now it's a whole different game and the expectations are much higher from regulations and performance standpoints. In addition, it did not...
  11. The MKIV vs MKV Thread

I would rather get a $100k Supra that would exist when it's ready without a collaboration and performs significantly above it's competition. Fair enough. Perhaps Toyota had a different target audience with this car all together.
  12. The MKIV vs MKV Thread

It's not that difficult to understand.. the point is so we wouldn't end up with a Supra with schizophrenia.
  13. The MKIV vs MKV Thread

So why bring the car back at all. Why not focus on what makes the company money instead.. Or what's to say if it had $100k price tag, it also would've been a much better car than what we got. From everything that I've gathered on the GR Super Sport thus far, it will far exceed the $100k mark...
  14. The MKIV vs MKV Thread

Ding ding ding ding. Personally I would have loved to see this car at a whole different segment with a Toyota drivetrain, even if it means a $100k+ price tag. But ultimately it is what it is.. That said, I actually like the way exterior looks, just wish it didn't have the fake vents.
  15. The MKIV vs MKV Thread

You're not the only one :) IIRC, that's why bone stock examples have sold for as high as $180k and modified examples hover around sub-$130k mark for prime examples. This is usually the case in the collector car market.
  16. The MKIV vs MKV Thread

Not to confuse modified with swapped cars. Original TT 6 speed cars always have the highest value with all original cars bringing the most money. That said, modified cars can still bring six figures.
  17. The MKIV vs MKV Thread

Right, like I said... an informed decision. This includes the seller too if they're actually trying to sell the vehicle. There's modified MKIV's that are actually selling in the six figures range. Time will tell, but IMO the MKV power figures will have little to no impact on MKIV values. In...
  18. The MKIV vs MKV Thread

Buying a high-value older vehicle is almost never a rational or a sane decision, it is driven by our emotion and passion. The goal is to make an informed decision, especially when it comes to appreciating assets.
  19. Analysis, Comments & Reactions from the Web about the new Supra

I never said I didn't like the car as a whole or that I am not excited about it, I simply pointed out specific aspects I personally don't like myself. There are a lot of aspects I do like and planning on buying one, thus I joined the forums to share my thoughts. But apparently some ladies get...
