I really do. I feel that splitters and extensions can or should have fins. Lips and side skirts shouldn’t. It’s been this way in the auto world for years lol. I’m really just trying to gauge what the aftermarket support is going to look like w this car before I spend $60k (I have a deposit...
I feel like you’re missing my point lol. The front end of the mk5 is weak from
The factory. The lip is awful and hovers weirdly above the bottom of the fender. It also sits higher than the side skirts and looks almost tucked underneath. There needs to be some other options besides bolting up a...
I’m not saying necessarily this exact bumper but one with a similar bottom line and without the uprights in the middle. Something more reminiscent of the mk4
I found this pic on here from a few years ago. Although I’m assuming it’s just a rendering, does anyone know of a company who’s actually produced anything similar? I feel that it really cleans up the front of the car and would be exactly what I’m looking for.
It seems like the interior must be a separate piece though. I’ve seen a few people both them on right into the interior and others widen the interior holes so the hardware is counter sunk. Maybe I’m not understanding
I’m assuming this is a full replacement kit? It’s clean. But I’m still waiting for someone besides 3D to put out a replacement kit that ditches the shark fins altogether. I will say that much like the oem, the gap left between the bottom of the bumper and the front lip bothers me.
I’ve watched some videos of wing installations and it seems like most people are drilling through their interior trim leaving holes and exposed hardware when the trunks open. Has anyone been able to remove the interior pieces prior to the drilling for a cleaner install?
I put down my deposit a week ago expecting it to be months before a car came in. There’s one gentleman on the list ahead of me who’s waiting specifically for a black/black premium. So the dealer is notified of an allocation for a car being built next week with an arrival time of 6 weeks and it’s...
There’s been no contract signed at this point. The transaction was done over the phone with an emailed receipt. This is to hold my spot on their list when they receive the vehicle. I was able to give them my preference (base absolute manual) but there no vin because the vehicle hasn’t been...
Mine was $1k. I called my sales guy today to make it and he was out. So I made it with the finance manager. But I emailed the sales rep to inform him that I wasn’t told it was non refundable so we’ll see what he says
I gave my deposit today for a 24 and found out after I was emailed the receipt that it was non refundable. I thought this odd but I guess it’s incentive to wait it out. I’d planned on putting deposits at more than one dealer to hedge my bets but the non refundable part blows that idea
