  1. Changing to Rays TE37SL wheels

See here: https://www.supramkv.com/threads/set-front-hks-adjustable-springs-at-factory-height.12804/#post-187070 No spacers or anything, Im running 275 35 front and 295 35 rear. The rt660s run a little bigger though so they are closer to 285/305.
  2. Forum does not work from MacBook

Do you have a VPN that your macbook uses to connect to the internet? NordVPN, PIA, etc? Do you have any browser features turn on for VPN as well? https://community.cloudflare.com/t/sorry-you-have-been-blocked/110790 If you do not have an VPNs up you will need to get your cloudflare ray ID and...
  3. Bagged on 20s!

That’s not how this works… you now have less rubber flex which means less grip. You took tire away to add wheel. On top of all of that you are running stretched tires which amplifies all of the above in a negative way. If you are dead hooking on the track it’s because you aren’t launching the...
  4. Set Front HKS Adjustable Springs at Factory Height?

Couple photos of what that setting looks like. Rear is slightly higher then I want but Im going to let the springs settle for a bit before I adjust it. Keep in mind im running 275 35 in the front and 295 35 in the rear which means my tire diameter is about 1/4 larger then stock.
  5. Set Front HKS Adjustable Springs at Factory Height?

I installed the packer and also cut the bump stop. Largely because I dont fully understand the point of the packer. It does not change the installed spring height it only effects where the bump stop touches. The packer is less then 1/8 inch thick and sits flat on the top of the coil adapter. I...
  6. Stud length

I went with the 78mm kit as well from motorsports hardware. Personally I like having longer studs as that means you can thread them on without worrying about scratching your wheels if you miss the stud a bit. Also gives more flexibility, it also ensures you get enough threads engaged, just make...
  7. Oil change interval

Do you drain your gas tank at the end of every year and throw it out? Fuel lubricates the fuel system and keeps it from corroding. Thats only $60 bucks to do as well. The reason is because its wasteful and not needed. Obviously its your money do what you want, but modern oil and filters are more...
  8. Oil change interval

If you guys want to watch something entertaining and informative on oil watch this tour with Gale Banks and Amsoil: https://blog.amsoil.com/tour-amsoil-with-gale-banks/ Modern oil is amazingly capable, no need to throw it out sooner then it needs to be.
  9. Oil change interval

On modern engines machining tolerances are so tight now that the engine breaks in damn near instantly. The crap in the manual is purely legal talking so you dont drive your new car like an idiot. Modern oil filters are like 99% efficient at 20 microns and 50% efficient at ~5 microns. Its...
  10. Oil change interval

You are actively throwing money away. 1,500 miles is absolutely insane for a modern synthetic oil its not 1975 anymore. Even 3000 is insane. Change once per year or at 10k which ever comes first. If tracking it drain oil after 4-6 days at the track, if you are proper fast you may want to change...
  11. What did you do to your Supra today?

Finally off jack stands and ready for warmer weather :)
  12. Has anyone found a Cusco or similar front bar alone created too much understeer?

That’s exactly what a stiffer front setting/bar will do if the change isn’t balanced at the rear. You can either change to a softer setting up front, install a rear bar, or try increasing front tire pressure and decreasing rear tire pressure.
  13. What products do you use?

The light version is unbelievably easy to use. You could do the entire hood and wipe it off without it even starting to dry unless it was 100 degrees out. I typically do my coatings in the winter/spring where temps are 40-50 degrees and the work time is huge with crystal serum light.
  14. What products do you use?

I personally use Megs micro fiber pads coarse and fine with Rupes fine and coarse compounds. I have a few random hex pads that I sometimes use if I still get some marks with a microfiber but rarely do those come out unless the paint is super soft. I really like both turtlewaxes ceramic spray as...
  15. FS: JOES SUPRA MOD PARTS... (OPEN FOR OFFERS - EVERYTHING MUST GOOOO!!)

Ill take the rear diff plate, any damage to it? Sending PM.
  16. Do you ABSOLUTELY need hood pins for a CF hood for "normal" street driving?

If the hood comes with metal latches for the factory location its not required, but its highly recommended to have hood pins. One because CF will flex and depending on the hood over time you may get cracks in the CF which can eventually cause failure. Two if the latch does fail you are in for a...

  18. HKS HAS Clicking Sound

https://www.supramkv.com/threads/solve-rear-end-clunking-with-lowering-springs-on-the-mkv-supra.10852/ Do you have the silencers installed on the coils in the correct spots?
  19. No more Russia unlocks

Im VERY glad I immediately jumped on it. Im sure it will eventually open back up again but this could last quite a long time.
  20. Just got front bumper reshot. Thoughts?

That is some of the worst paint I’ve ever seen. I could do better in my garage with a harbor freight gun and an eye patch on. That whole bumper needs to be stripped and re done, properly with all of the black trim removed. I would be furious if I got handed this piece of garbage.
