Do you have the actual code of the error? What this error is saying is that the pressure difference between before and after the filter is out of range. The only time ive heard of an error like this is on a diesel with a DPF. We dont have OPFs yet but I understand that they act in a similar...
The start up roar is not for cat heating. This is used ONLY when the car is warm enough to rev at startup. There is however a setting for cat warming that can be disabled which is what makes true cold starts loud.
That being said cold start with an AA catted pipe and stock exhaust is not that...
Of course it’s much more then tires. What I was trying to get at though is tires can easily be multiple seconds around a track when you compare stock vs stock. Put them on the same tires and the cars are way closer then most people realize.
I personally really dont care about comparisons because they are generally a waste of time if the tires are wildly different. The SS 1LE comes with eagle f1 supercars and the supra comes with PSS. 300 vs 220 treadware. The Mustang comes with a Cup 2, which are 180 treadware. The PSS is a piece...
The ECU sends the current tq output to the transmission, the transmission uses that info to shift properly and can ask the ECU to reduce tq when needed.
Before the TCU tuning, tuners would modify the torque output tables to trick the TCU into doing things because we did not have the ability to...
I reached out to xHP for some answers to a few questions that I had. I have no issues with running these TCU maps with these answers personally. I will also give Visconti a chat at some point as well as I think a few tweaks are needed for my car at least. I also dont know what torque maps my...
Search for "MHD wifi orange" Looks like a few places have them, the THOR adapter seems out of stock in a few places but amazon has them if you search "THOR wifi"
Yes it is: https://rbttuning.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RBTTUNING/pages/1179749/xHP+Flashtool+-+Supported+Flashing+Hardware#DCAN-Wi-Fi-Adapter-(E%2C-F-%26-G-Series-%2B-Supra)
You can see the note where the ENET adapter is not supported on the supra (black MHD)...
Yeah thats a fair point. Ill probably reach out to xHP and ask for clarification on LPB vs Shift Pressure. Shift pressure is rescaled in stage 2 and 3, but there isnt any mention of LPB.
I mean xHP has been doing this for awhile and “may” isn’t a confirmation. My trans will need to be rebuilt regardless though so even if it does I’m not that concerned.
That being said pure has a really good write up about this...

If anything it will help not break things. There might need to be tweaks depending on what ECU platform you have but once...
Went straight to "Stage 3". Flashed just fine and the difference is quite noticeable. I have some issues with downshifts and rev matching that needs to be tweaked especially for the 3 -> 2 shift it over revs the shift and is very jerky. As said above those tweaks are locked and will be unlocked...
They are the normal “Supra” spec that you can get from anywhere. I got mine from @Meraki Autoworks
But these are the specs:https://titanmotorsports.com/products/volk-racing-te37sl-a90-specific-fitment
Thats not how it works, not even slightly. You have a gross misunderstanding of how thermodynamics works. If everything else remains the same an increase in temperatures means you have reduced the cooling efficiency not increased it. These systems all reach equilibrium, if they reach that at a...
No I’m not.
What you said and are still saying is wrong. Read the articles I posted, they completely and entirely refute what you are saying.
Oil is not the “primary” means of cooling on a water cooled engine which is why the system capacity is smaller(Oil is typically responsible for 30-40%...
This isn’t true. Thicker oil can hold slightly more heat but it takes longer to do so because it moves slower. Thinner oil does hold slightly less heat but it is able to move that heat faster because it flows faster. Therefore thinner oil is better at moving heat from one place to another...
I was waiting to see a comment like this. 100% exactly this. You’re oil needs to get to 212F to boil off any water and prevent corrosion if the car sits for any length of time. These temps are completely normal. Modern cars keep track of drive cycles and if you don’t drive much it might be...
With the rt660s 265 and 285 I don’t think would look stretched. I would guess they would be largely square with maybe just being ever so slightly smaller.
295 is a little bubbled on my rear it’s really close to how a 305 would look.
Honestly shoot Falken an email. I reached out to them for...
If you think this is yelling at the internet you should take a moment to look at some of the threads where others got banned. No where have I freaked out here. No where have I insulted anyone or made fun of someone. These types of nonsense circle jerk conversations are the reason people don’t...
