Regardless the brakes/engine need to be cooled somewhow and the positioning means it serves a cooling effect. I would not rule out some dual purpose but this is all just guesswork on a concept. The studio was not confined to anything mocked up by engineers.

that's a bit of exaggeration lol. you can still change oil on many cars yourself. :) Sure the really high tech ones you have to bring it into dealer for most things.
It makes sense not only because of the toyota connection but look at the design. It's got a lot of similar lines... altho the FT1 is way more stunning IMO.
well i'm a pretty young dude in my early 20's and i still kind of agree with you. i dint grow up with the mkiii/iv supra and cars like it but there's no denying the japanese sports cars diluted and disappeared.
i grew up owning a mark iii and then moved on to a Mustang when most of those...
It's a trademark renewal. I'm no lawyer but I think when you file a trademark you have to show an intent to use it and not just squat on it.
Toyota would need to show the trademark office that they have some plans to use the Supra name within an X amount of years.

- 2.0L turbo 4 cyl from the upcoming Lexus NX 200t (with around 235hp)
