S58 is a racing engine compared to the B58 tractor engine. Revs matter and in time we will have 9,000 rpm S58 when the B58 tractor won’t push past 7,500 without trouble.

Yes, read it again. If new manufactured ecu were fully unlockable there won’t be the price gouging for the extremely limited supply of the current solution. No more pre 06.20 ecu are being produced, they will only get more expensive until they are all gone.
Assuming the most likely scenario, its a “read” MT thats been cloned and the flash is going on an applicable ecu.
Not sure why the bootloader would be different so not probable that the new manufactured ecus are fully flashable.
