My car had 7 kilometers (4.35 miles) when i collected it from the dealer. The dealer over in my part of the world must have transported the car between PDI (where they install dash cam, solar film, license plates) to the new car collection showroom. cos the travel distance between those centres...
would be interesting to know where these units are going to. The dealer here isnāt even taking orders for the M40 anymore.
itās a great car, shame that BMW chose to price it against the Boxster. And also making it look like a Kia.
I had the M sport suspension in my E85 and it rode pretty rough on uneven roads, unless you drove fast! The Supraās adaptive suspension is far more comfortable on crappy roads.
I had an ā08 E85 Z4 2.5si (N52B25). I was more keen on the E86 but my dealer didnāt have it in stock and offered a deal on the roadster instead. So the new Supra is me making up for that lost coupe.
I barely drove it roof down, but absolutely loved that car. Where I live, cars need to be...
The dealer had the 2.0 test drive unit available and took me out for a comparison.
I picked up the same noise from the window sill, so I just figured itās typical of the low roof design being at (my) ear level when Iām driving.
No water leaks either.
Have yet to try installing any of the...
Thatās odd, Iāve heard from several owners thereās only 1 high tone installed for the Supra. And I understand it is Identical to the high tone horn in the G29 Z4, which is paired to a separate low tone unit to form a pair.
Could I check if the crash bar section on the passenger side had a ready spot to secure the second horn? No drilling needed?
Iām asking my local garage to help me add the low note Z4 horn, but they arenāt sure if the Supra crash bar is pre drilled as the Z4 is.
Hope they have answers for you. do share what they advise.
my dealer here schedules a 1000km oil change and theyāve offered to check the window seal then. Iāll prob take another month before I hit the 1k mark.
I have yet to apply rubber conditioner to see if it helps. Other owners think it...
Iāve been searching the forums for anyone else who noticed this! I first noticed it when I was driving right beside a road barrier. It sounds like a whistling noise, but since then Iāve been paying more attention to the window where it meets the upper door seal - even when motorcycles squeeze...
I would not let this go, Toyota should replace it. I had similar looking crack in my then brand new BMW E85 Z4 rear brake light and made the mistake of thinking it was nothing.
It eventually cracked right thru after the warranty period, and I had to get it replaced on my own.
