I've got the Magnaflow and have the muffler on the left and the straight pipe on the actuator side. Was too quiet and got a nicer tone in reg mode using bimmerlink to leave the flap in the open position...sounds better now and not loud at all!
I removed the passenger door threshold plate and plastic piece ahead of that by pulling ....held in by plugs and no screws. Pulled the carpet back by brute force..quite impressed by the amount and quality of the insulating foam. There is a protective cover on the BCM that comes off and you have...
Comes out easily...I used a mini flat blade screwdriver between the button and the housing and pry upward...popped right out...could probably use a pen knife!
When tapping mine I inadvertently blew 2 fuses on the BCM....is located under the front fuse block in the passenger side... Remove threshold strip plus the other plastic kick piece, roll the carpet back... remove the lower row of wire connects and the fuses are under a plastic protection panel...
Thanks for the reply.. Blew a fuse while tapping the mirror....See it's under the carpet below the passenger side fuse box....under a cover....raining here so it's good timing to work on this!!!
Is Toyota paying for any of these batteries. Why I ask is that I purchased a 2020 not from a dealer and battery not charging up to full voltage and battery is warm?
Ya... maybe battery is low...is hooked up and works great though...I saw somewhere if the windshield is replaced something has to be reset....won't have it out for a week to check again...these BMW's sure are hi tech!
