I appreciate that offer. Once I'm off from work I'm going to dive into this this weekend. I'm gonna start by trying a different app I have to clear the code. If I can get that far, I will follow the pop hood and take key into house for 30 min. before installing the new JB+ that Burger sent me. I...
Ohh you must be on the full JB4 kit. I'm just currently trying to get my JB+ to work, Burger sent me a new one to try out and I will be doing that this weekend.
What bluetooth adapter and app are you using? I'm going to mess with it this weekend but in diagnostic mode, I was unable to clear anything through a OBD Link CX and Bimmerlink.
Anyone heard about a company releasing an exhaust that has the more traditional angled outlet like this? I'll buy the Tomei vs waiting years for something like this but don't really want to. This picture comes from some IG page called "412Built" but I cant find the original post to determine...
Sorry was on vacation and just returning. I think this may be on me as I did not follow the hood and door instructions along with my key being inside. I will do the install this weekend and follow this to a T... As far as the sensor, I am positive I installed in the correct location but at any...
Yes they offered to replace it... Your comment has me giving that some more thought and this could be on me because I definitely did not pop the hood, lock doors, and wait 30 min. Let me get a replacement unit and do those steps and I'll report back on the outcome. To me its just odd that I cant...
I will most likely return it and put the $200 towards a JB4 and just run on map 2 with stock exhaust. I really want to run a catless dp but I'm concerned about the cel and potentially doing damage to the engine. I just wish the ecm's were cracked already.
Burger told me they recommend the JB4 for the Supra and while I understand that, the JB+ is advertised to be compatible with the Supra also. I think at this point if they don't have any further recommendations, I'm just going to return it.
Very interested on this as well. I had hopes for the Tomei single but the design of how the muffler is mounted was disappointing. I was hoping the muffler to be mounted more traditionally like the MK4. Also, the few sound clips I've heard are bad, like really bad lol.
I had this same scenario just happen with my JB+ and I'm currently waiting on an email back from Burger Tuning. Out of curiosity, how did you clear your codes? I removed the device and tried to clear my codes via Bimmerlink and I get a fail to delete the code error so there still active. Car...
Yes, yesterday evening I removed and and returned the engine to factory. Drove home which was about 15 miles and the CEL stayed on the whole time. Got home and tried to clear in diagnostic mode with Bimmerlink and it didnt clear. At this point I'm going to drive it some more and see if it goes...
So I have a locked ECM and while I wait on them to be cracked, I figured I'd try a JB+. There was a guy on YouTube that was in the same boat and had positive results. Anyways as soon as I installed, I am getting the following codes and after several 25 mile drives, the codes are still active...
Awesome, thanks for clarifying. I found a P3 Boost Tap kit that I guess I could also use. Regarding the suede flocking kit, I've never heard of that but I now see how the coverage is so even so well done sir. Pretty sure I'm going with this exact setup, its a shame there was no provision from...
Andy is your gauge a mechanical style with an actual boost reference line coming into the cabin? I'm wanting to replicate this exact setup and wondering how hard it was to get that line into the cabin if so... Also wondering how you got the suede covering on so perfectly.
