So here's the question. In reverse, do ALL the lights come on, or just the ones that aren't used for the fog light? Basically, I'm trying to figure out if there are dual color LEDs in there or if the control boards are indeed different between EU and NA

I suspect that is the actual OEM light from the car (same one that would be in yours). The EU spec cars probably get a different electronic control board that has red LEDs in the 'inner' part and wiring to support the 'fog light'. NA models likely get a control board with all white LEDs and...

Not sure if those systems use the front camera or radar. Was anything blocking the camera on the windshield. Direct sunlight can mess with it too.

Looks like an NFC tracking tag. Probably left over from delivery. Mine doesn't have one...never seen one on any of the cars at the dealer either. I'd say safe to remove.

Yeah if your MX+ is OK, then I can't imagine the camera is going to be doing much more. Please update with results. If it does work without issue, it definitely makes the installation far easier. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out!

I believe on The Supra/BMWs, the car knows when something is connected to the OBDII port and, if left connected, will set off the alarm when you lock it. I know some tuners have had this issue. From what I've garnered, it's generally a bad idea to use the OBDII port on a BMW to power anything...

I installed a Thinkware camera with their battery module (made by blackvue) using this tutorial as a guide. I have had zero problems. Great write up and super helpful!!!

Our household has vested interest in this for sure. My girl LOVES her Z (as do I). It's a sexy looking thing and a true drivers car with the 6 speed manual. We keep saying we're going to need more garage space when/if the 400Z is released.

Have you put it on a battery charger to at least exclude a weak battery? Just guessing based on the weak start.
