Yokohama Advan tyres have been around for ages. Don't know if Advan wheels are related but a lot of the Japanese wheels are just rebranded from the manufacturer.
I'm up in Newcastle from time to time. (to us southerners that's basically Scotland ;) so easy to push on a bit further). I'd join if I'm free at the time.
Garage-D did the work. Gear changes are now MUCH quicker. Feels more like a dual clutch now. In fact, we may wind it back a bit for road use as the changes are a bit too violent.

I'm not worried. I'm in the UK so it may be different but there are very few being made available by Toyota so it'll always be rare. They are good cars that can be made great with a few basic mods.
Most will be babied too, the toughest thing thrown at them being carrying golf bats to the local...

I totally agree with this.
In the UK we had to place a deposit a year before cars were delivered and 8 months before we could drive them. So I bought on the Supra name and confidence that it would be good. Had it been a 90-100k car I probably would have gone for something else ( a used cayman...
ÂŁ175,000 in the UK which is cheap compared to an equivalent Porsche or Aston but obviously it's a race car only.
GRMN sounds interesting. I hope current mkV owners are offered first dibs. I wonder how they'll compare price/spec-wise to keeping and modifying a standard car?
The dealers in the UK were totally out of the loop. The only contact the buyers have/had with Toyota wasn't't given any information to pass on. It made the whole buying process a chore and almost cost them my order.
