I have been driving with the prototype in heavy rain, washed the car, left it outside, etc. The slope of the duct does not let any water in and it does not sit in the duct. Any water drains out the front. Just don't drive it during a flood. 😜

There is a plastic piece that gets trimmed. For MT owners that piece is not used and doesn’t show so trimming doesn’t affect anything. For AT owners with Adaptive Cruise Control, that piece is needed to hold the radar. It is an easily replaceable plastic part if you go back to stock. Costs $36...
