I don't believe he owns that car. He started a new series of videos, were he reviews cars from his viewers/fans. I don't think his videos are informative in any nature, and he shows the most bias than any other Youtuber I've seen. 95% of his videos are labeling things junk, and his outdated...
If this was a serious review, this is the worst one I've seen.
This seasoned auto mechanic said the reason for the HP difference between the MKV and the Z4, is because the Z4 has two turbochargers???
Then eventually follows up and says the 2021 Supra will get the twin turbos as well??? Do ppl...
Well, ppl complained the MKV didn't look like the FT-1 concept. Barely any car looks close to it's concept. The only one I know from recent memory is the Lexus LC500 to the LF-LC concept.

Very interesting to hear from a Porsche owner's perspective. I think the only other review I remember is from Redline reviews, when he reviewed his Cayman GTS at the Supra.
Idk if you've driven a Cayman S, but I would prefer the MKV over a Cayman. 911 is of course where the line is drawn, and...
Starting under 40k? (probably $39,995) I'm suspecting that's got to be an economy spec with a turbo 4 cycl. If so, that would be a better deal than the current 4 cycl Supra, if Nissan could offer a manual.
I'm guessing this car should be around ~$50k, undercutting the Supra a little. If Nissan...
This convo seems to going nowhere. It's completely irrelevant to say, "Given the same PSI and Turbo." B/c in reality, it doesn't. The B58D creates more power stock for stock. Arguing all Toyota did was turn up the boost, and the pistons, rods, head, and exhaust manifold are marketing tools...
I think a good portion of those ppl come with the pre-conceived notion that BMW cars are unreliable. As Dave Ramsey would say, a money pit. I believe the king of reliability, Scotty Kilmer, also called the MKV junk mainly b/c of the BMW influence.
For some, they don't feel the MKV is a proper...

Definitely had my doubts with the original speculations and the leak from that dealer conference only confirmed when it was arriving, no real #'s were displayed.
At this point I'm...
I think the engine note sounds smoother. I think straight 6 car's makes great engine sounds, and the pops don't sound too generic. To each, their own though.
Dude, I've seen you reference @Dannyvandelft in like 3-4 other threads. Are you ok?
I remember seeing something similar about a year ago, but now it seems like Subaru is doing most of the development and Toyota is just an "overseer" according to some insiders. A bit of a disappointment, but a ~2700 lb, manual, turbo coupe could still be plenty fun. Especially if they improve...
Wouldn't make sense for the GR86 to have the B48. It's being co-developed with Subaru, so it'll definitely still have a boxer engine (maybe turbo or not). Plus, the car isn't being produced in Austria (Magna Streyr) like the Supra is.
It's good to see the leaked photo Motor1 reported a month ago, but I don't think this changes much. Jalopnik and other journalist are "confirming" 255 HP, however the 2.0L MKV was just unveiled with basically the same HP. Might as well just get the GR86 because of the manual.
Still more...
I respect any owner's right to tell Toyota about any short comings they have with the car, and constructive ways the company could help remedy those problems. However, how Toyota is structured today doesn't make it easy. I'm confident they still haven't even addressed the wind buffeting issue...
