For people unfamiliar with the process, you pick an base amount (you can put what it would cost to buy a used supra or what you owe on a loan) that you want to insure it with Hagerty/Lockton/RLI, add on any aftermarket parts you want covered, what track youre at (different tracks will cause...
Ive been running Carbotech XP20 for my base 3.0 and theyre working great. I used XP20 for the front and rear last year but switched to CSG fronts and kept the rear Carbotechs. I dont feel any odd imbalance under braking and the wear rate has been stellar. I just need a good front rotor...
I finally got to visit VIR this year and improve my CMP PB. Didnt get out to as many tracks as I wanted but no bad offs and the car is still running means a successful year.

NCR SCCA Time Trial @ Virginia International Raceway...
Just wanted to say hey again from Wilmington. Doing the SCCA NCR Time Trial at VIR on Sunday and 2 weeks after the TTN at CMP. I invite anyone interested in dipping your toes into the track environment to check these events out.
Depends how you look at it. Every thing that's changed affects other things. I don't rub on 275 michelins so the actual section width is also a factor.
I have 18x10+32 square tc4's, 275/35 falken rt660s, 10mm front, 13mm(I think) rear ecs hubcentric spacers. I was on HKS springs before so idk if they contact the perch without spacers but probably. Only rub in the rear slightly on really big sharp bumps.
A simple plug & play, sub $800 fuel slosh/starve solution would be magic for us track guys. Not trying to flow extra fuel, just want the fuel to stay where I need it.
This is going to be a really long post but I wanted to explain it all and hopefully it helps others. I found the source for me personally but it could help others in this thread to identify their clicks or chase it down through process of elimination.
I was debating to accuse the hub or brake...
Sorry to be semantic but just reconfirming 100% stock, no spacers, wheel studs or extended wheel bolts? Car was new and suspension never taken down for anything? Just trying to find any common link.
Being 100% stock makes me give more weight to suspecting hubs, especially if people are hearing...
On the way home from work I tested to see if it was the rotor hats so I turned, caused the clicks, lightly pressed brake pedal till I felt drag while also lightly accelerating and no change in clicking pitch. I took pics of the behind the wheel while straight and also while slightly turned and...
Ive been hearing this sound for about 3+ months but only recently started investigating by swapping parts around. Its only my drivers side front under cornering load. The rhythm is speed based and is a distinct click that sounds like either plastic on plastic or heavy metal with a very small...
They are different. Aside from the tech packages for nav, parking, HUD and carplay that the premium offers, the caliper paint and rear brake sizes are the only real difference between base and premium. Carbotech listed the 2 rear sizes on their site when I bought pads last, so if youre looking...
Any feedback on different pads from those who have competitive experience? Im using Carbotech XP20 f/r and I cant tell if its the spongy pedal taming the initial bite and consistent feel or pad characteristic on this chassis. I use xp20 fronts on my s2000 and love them. I see CSG pads being...
Shakedown with the added front negative camber and brake pads. Lots more time on the table as Im getting used to higher speeds than the NA s2000 lol.
