Good catch, the brochure shows the AT and MT having the same final drive which I believe is incorrect. "the manual receives a shorter final-drive ratio—3.46 versus 3.15 for the auto". (https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a39843195/2023-toyota-supra-manual/) someone at Toyota needs to do some QC...
According to the US Brochure (https://www.toyota.com/content/dam/toyota/brochures/pdf/2023/grsupra_ebrochure.pdf) it looks like all 3.0's get the new "19-in. Frozen Gunmetal Gray forged-aluminum wheels"
Is this confirmed now Rustyoid? A bit dissapointing that the MT isn't a little cheaper than the AT based on the pricing in other markets, but at least it didn't go up from '22.
Ok good, no offense to '22 owners but I think those wheels on the yellow car in the video are fugly. Curious to see what the '23 Wheels will actually look like then, seeing as they won't be the grey ones seen on the matte white limited edition '23 A91 MT Cars.
Oh man I hope those aren't the wheels the '23 MT Cars will come with. Those look like the same wheels as the 2022 MY yet the press release for '23 mentions: "The 3.0 Premium MT will come equipped with new 19-inch forged aluminum wheels" (Toyota GR Supra Adds Manual Transmission and Enhanced...
Yah, I placed my order for one in Portimao Blue on June 7th (first one to do so at this dealership). My dealer told me there was no information regarding allocations from Toyota Canada yet though, curious as to how your dealer knows for sure they're getting two :dunno:
52/48 is what I've read.
AFE themselves recommend going to full stiff on the front and full soft on the rear when you put in both bars, so I don't think going to a slightly stiffer front bar alone (as a starting point like I mentioned) would add a ton of understeer.
On a front heavy car like this a front bar will give you the most bang for the buck in terms of roll stiffness. Sure you may add a bit more understeer but on a tail happy car like this it's not a huge deal, it's easier to drive around push in sweepers than it is to drive around tail-happiness in...
Front and rear sway bars would be an easy way to imrpove roll stiffness without making the ride much harsher. Maybe start with just a front bar (I think the rear is a bit of a PITA to install).
