Just a lowly CSL DD 8NM base with HE Sprint Pedals. Thinking of upgrading the base to a Simucube Pro but I just formally placed my order for a '23 6MT Supra today so that may have to wait :D
And a curb weight of 3470lbs in the manual (which is supposedly lighter than the AT)? C&D reports the '22 Auto at 3347lbs (2023 Toyota Supra Review, Pricing, and Specs (caranddriver.com)).
Can't find too many lap times for both cars at the same track other than MT @ Laguna Seca (1LE was ~3sec faster) and C&D @ VIR (1LE was ~5sec faster). The GY SC3 isn't that much faster than the PSS. The Sport Cup 2 might be close but not the SC3.
As for the Z, not disputing that, I'm certain...
Lol, is that meant to be a dig at Mustang's and Camaro's? You do realize that stock for stock the Mustang (PP2 or Mach 1) and Camaro (SS 1LE) are more capable track cars and are noticeably faster on track than both the Supra and the Z right?
Yup, dealing directly with the GM who I know and bought a car from in the past.
To be clear, as of right now I'm only on their waiting list (first in line) with a deposit placed. He's told me that as soon as Toyota Canada opens factory orders I need to specify my color and options and he'll...
Haha ditto!
I've been on the Z Forum since January when I put an order in for one. Still have one on order but may cancel (deposit is refundable). The lack of roll stiffness (based on the Smoking Tire video) and a fairly low top speed in 2nd has me pretty worried (I'm an autocrosser). We'll see...
I think you copied exactly what I said on the Z Forums regarding the roll stiffness ;)
Very disappointed that the "Performance" trim car drives like that with those tires, while not being driven anywhere near 10/10ths.
If it's springs and bushings that would be fantastic. This thing seems to have a real lack of roll stiffness in autocross/track settings in stock form.
