No, I left the original filter since it only have 1000kms of use. Flushing the old oil probably got rid of 80% of the metal particles.

I did. I just flushed the old oil and put in new oil. The old oil measured 6.8 liters and there were tons of metal bits in the oil. I changed it at 1000kms. Be very careful with the oil pan screw. The whole thing is made out of aluminum and it's very fragile. Do not over torque or you...
