You'll see a lot of recent testing done on the Wagner unit from 3rd party members with real time data (Youtube). It does in fact do very very well with cooling. Note that CSF and EOS has their short comings as well. Heat soak on a metal unit replacing the factory plastic one is common sense. In...
This is exactly what I mentioned in my last post. The oil drain tube bolted to turbo is clocked incorrectly causing too much tension on the rubber hose. The correct fix is to redo the drain pipe.
If you watch the CES Motorsports install video on YouTube (@ 06:27), you'll see them spend a lot of time trying to get the oil drain line to clock correctly. Even the shops had a hard time clocking it straight. The drain line clearly needs a revision. Kinking the drain line is inevitable as it sits.
Is there any kit that offers a full frame turbo internally gated? Would be nice to have a bottom mount IWG G35-1050 for the A90. It would simplify installation and clean up the muck that 2 EWG make with having to run long dump tubes.
If itās like any metro city like the tri-state, all OBD two sensors must be in the ready state. Most if not all big turbo tunes will shut off the secondary oxygen sensor in order to prevent check engine codes. I would discuss with your tuner your concerns. Potentially run a physical O2 self fix...
Love this thread. For people like me, intending on keeping the factory 19s with spacers. Can someone please list whatās needed for the 380mm upgrade?
ArmyTrix is literally contracted by vivid. You need to go through them to get those parts. And itās another rebranded part coming out of Taiwan. Thereās nothing Japanese about it.
Consensus is that these aftermarket spacers/mini cats do not work. The ArmyTrix and Kenji downpipes have a proprietary simulator that uses pin hole sized windows in their fouler using loose metal tweed inside the barrel of their fouler that works every time. IMO itās worth their inflated pricing.
Nothingās broken. Manual knobs in BMWs do not thread in. They are popped into place. Whatever reason yours was not pushed or clicked in all the way down. Which led to it popping out very easily. Once you give it a good shove, it will click back in. And youāre good to go. Not a big deal.
ArmyTrix is a brand Vivid Racing made up as one of their exclusive lines of exhausts. Unfortunately vivid has stopped stocking them, but they can still order them for you. The problem is that since they no longer stock them, the buyer has to wait long and pay a lot for shipping since they are...
I think most members on this website still runs a factory downpipe. The few that have an expensive gesi catted aftermarket DP are a hit or miss on throwing a cel. Those that run catless had the best luck with ArmyTrix. Not many reporting any luck with using an aftermarket cel spacer/mini cat.
ArmyTrix seems to be the best option. I've seen several iterations of CAT simulators in the market. Most universal simulators still allow for too much flow and will not work on the A90 platform. The sensors are way too sensitive. So for those stating that getting a cheaper catless DP and...
Thanks for the input guys. I recently had the car at my local Toyota dealership to investigate the parking assist alert issues. I thought they may have hurt the car while they had it.
2024 GR Supra MT 3.0
Just got my Supra about 2 weeks ago. Iāve since put almost 200 miles on her. Iām not sure if the sound was there since the beginning, but today I noticed that when in gear, every time a press on the gas pedal, I hear and feel a low pitched thud. Every single time I get on...
There seems to be a ton of people that suffer from rubbing given the popular āA90 specā TE37s. But I believe the math is off. And yes it will vary from tire manufacturer, tire size, added camber etc. But generally speaking, the numbers donāt seem right. +20 up front will cause too much poke. +34...
