What happened with the Armytrix catless downpipe?

Just an FYI, I’ll have my armytrix catless dp for sale soon. Purchased 2 years ago, no quality issues, and still never have gotten a cel. Really have loved it. Dm if anybody wants a deal on it.

ArmyTrix is a brand Vivid Racing made up as one of their exclusive lines of exhausts. Unfortunately vivid has stopped stocking them, but they can still order them for you. The problem is that since they no longer stock them, the buyer has to wait long and pay a lot for shipping since they are coming from Taiwan.

I was not aware that Armytrix is a Vivid brand; as far as I know, it's a Japanese brand with very few distributors in the US, vivid being one of them.

ArmyTrix is literally contracted by vivid. You need to go through them to get those parts. And it’s another rebranded part coming out of Taiwan. There’s nothing Japanese about it.

having an exclusive distributor is not the same as owning the brand. Your first post made it seem as though Armytrix is Vivid's brand, but now you’re saying they are an exclusive distributor. This aligns more with what I initially understood.

By the way, while all Armytrix sales go through Vivid, that doesn’t mean they’re the only place you can order from. You can place an order with us, and we’ll coordinate with Vivid to get you the exhaust at the same price you’d pay ordering directly from them.

As for the exhaust itself, you’re probably right about it being Taiwanese and not Japanese. Personally, their exhausts don’t appeal to me sound-wise, but that’s subjective and will vary from person to person. I also agree with you that there’s nothing particularly special about their product .

I dont know why im defending another competitor, but since it's a slow day on the forums, i guess I'll keep going.

Vivid is Armytrix's exclusive distributor in the US. If you contact Armtrix for a US order, they will direct your request to Vivid. That's normal and happens with many brands that have exclusive distributors.

This is not the same as the distributor owning said brand.

Again, I dont know if Vivid owns armytrix, but if we dont have proof, we should not make these claims.

either way, you dont like armytrix, i dont even sell catless downpipes, so not sure what are arguing about here lol
