Im getting the Armytrix Catless Downpipe will I get CEL?

the downpipe will throw a check engine light, if you are using an O2 simulator it might trick the ECU. It's more about the simulator than it is about the downpipe brand as you can do the same with any brand.
Do you (or anyone else) happen to know if the ECU is not throwing a CEL because the cat monitor is set to 'ready'? Or is it not throwing a CEL for other reasons?

Massachusetts State emissions tests require monitors to be set to ready. The inspector will check this via OBDII.

I'm just wondering if the Armytrix DP keeps these monitors lit in a ready state as well as suppressing the CEL?

If so, great! Nothing to worry about!

If not, that's a problem because folks like me won't be able to pass emissions inspection.
