SC3R on stock wheels were amazing. I got ~20 sessions and maybe a couple more left but new wider wheels came in so I swapped to some NT01 which I can feel slide a little. I'll probably go back to the SC3R at some point.
Wider tire typically looks and performs better but just stating the 285's got the job done. I wanted the cheapest and lightest for a couple runs. I agree 295 would fit best so it's picking between a tad smaller or a tad wider. 305's fit the car and aren't too wide for the wheel so they are the...
285/35/19 fit the well best and hooked I a 1.55 60'. More people probably run the 305/35/19 and it seems to work fine and looks a little better. Availability of what's in stock is also a big thing right now.
PS4's - Great daily, no rain issues, last 30k miles, 50-60 rolls slip some but manageable
R888R - Better grip, horrible in rain, loud road noise, last 10-15k miles
555r2 - Best grip, ok in rain, last 10-15k miles, they prefer more heat than others
10.7 on 285 555r2's, 30k total miles on car...
Counterspace Garage has multiple pads to match for specific applications. I've been running C2/C11 for track with 100-200 TW tires (very dusty, slight noise but still do run daily at times). These blow away stock pads.
Daily (no dust) Powerstop z26.
Maybe with BimmerCode? This was just in a random BMW forum but might help lead to the right place for those that use the app more.
In the 3000 Anzeige_Konfiguration section (Bimmercode: expert mode), under CC_Temperaturwarnung,
change from "Nicht_Aktiv" to "Aktiv".
Would recommend spending money anywhere else first unless you need the charge pipe for meth or want looks. You won't gain any power and more likely for the charge pipe to keep blowing off.
