yessir. Now it hasnt been extremely long but i can confirm, having left the car for nearly two weeks hooked up that it was able to start and had no negative consequences hooking it up as referenced in this post. I leave the harness screwed in and just plug in the quick disconnect to charge.

i chose not to cheap out on this and instead to go with the one that bmw rebadges.

I would have shifted it up so that just the actual camera eye was below the textured line but overall great.

Is the replacement horn plug and play or did you have to splice in a new adapter? By chance do you have part numbers? (Not sure if horns are universal or if this is a bmw connection)

I really inspected after the windshield was replaced otherwise i probably would have missed it. Because it is rough to the touch (like it was drilled from the inside out) i didnt think it was normal

ok pictures. The hole seems pretty rough, almost like it was drilled from the inside out.

Admittedly i should have a picture and can upload one if people are confused as to what i am describing. Dead center on the hood and just under the hood line (so facing you as you sit in the car if you look down by the windshield wipers hood center) i have noticed a ~1/8” hole. It is not capped...
