    Seems just like something that doesn’t trip the sensor if you’re lowered from the sounds of it. As my installer said, ā€œjust bmw things.ā€ And it worked (so far at least).

    Here’s something to try. Flip the sensors. I got new wheels and my installer did that after I told him I was getting a chassis error.

    Happens to me as well. The only time it happens is after I drive 40 minutes, park it, and drive back another 40 minutes. I would love to find a fix for it.

    I agree, if power was the end goal. I think building a nice engine bay is a good enough reason as well. It’s just a thing that’s been on my mind is all. It’s also a great thread for people trying to get more info before making a decision on a turbo. šŸ™‚

    Yeah, my power goals would be modest. I personally am fine with just 500 whp. I don’t mind keeping the torque down if I can keep the stock trans and run a top mount kit. I’ll agree isn’t the smartest thing in the world to throw money at for a mod. šŸ˜…

    If I went top mount (with supporting mods), I could keep the trans stock if the tuner keeps torque in the threshold? If not, I’ll just go pure 800.

    Personally I don’t care about making money on my old turbo and doesn’t factor into the value for me. This isn’t to say it’s not important for others, which is the point of this thread: User feedback/experiences.
