Seems just like something that doesnāt trip the sensor if youāre lowered from the sounds of it.
As my installer said, ājust bmw things.ā And it worked (so far at least).
Happens to me as well. The only time it happens is after I drive 40 minutes, park it, and drive back another 40 minutes.
I would love to find a fix for it.
It really would be an expensive mod, for sure!
I personally love aesthetic mods. but Iām also not going to do it blindly, or ignorantly.
I know lots of people on this forum are about value and thatās completely understandable. There are also a lot of people/experts that know how to piece...
I agree, if power was the end goal.
I think building a nice engine bay is a good enough reason as well.
Itās just a thing thatās been on my mind is all. Itās also a great thread for people trying to get more info before making a decision on a turbo. š
Yeah, my power goals would be modest. I personally am fine with just 500 whp. I donāt mind keeping the torque down if I can keep the stock trans and run a top mount kit. Iāll agree isnāt the smartest thing in the world to throw money at for a mod. š
Woooo! Thanks for popping in Razorlab!
From your experiences and data, which turbo do you believe is most effective/reliable?
Your thoughts on top mount kits? Bottom mount?
Do you think itās worth it for daily driven supras?
EDIT: Just saw your post. Thanks for the feedback! Whyād you go pure?
Personally I donāt care about making money on my old turbo and doesnāt factor into the value for me.
This isnāt to say itās not important for others, which is the point of this thread: User feedback/experiences.
