On my 2020 on ecutek I had them off, and when I wanted to be a child, I had a setting that would just give me 1-2 loud bangs accompanied by a 3 foot fireball, on my 23 I can't turn them off but the stock mapping isn't bad, it is a little much sometimes but I don't mind the faint gurgle on decel...
Cheapest way to add a good amount of noise ( not legal anywhere) is a catless downpipe, if you want to retain the stock cat, have a custom straight pipe catback built, can be done for about 1k-1500k USD depending who you take it too, and that'll be a big volume upgrade.
Oof yikes, this could actually be totaled, I think everyone is a little low on estimates, the paint alone due to blending is going to be pricey, I would say on the low end 10-12k, with the high end being 20k+, a good Diminished value attorney should also be able to get at least 8-10k in dv for...
Gesi supplied a set of bad Cats a few months ago, GESI completely hid this from multiple suppliers and we have been dealing with the repercussions of their bs for months, most likely you got one of those, active will warranty and replace it.
Mine happened 8-9 times, but after one good whack in, it has not happened again, granted I am a little more cautious with how I shift to avoid it so that may be a reason why, the first time was pretty scary, mid 1-2 pull and it came off and car threw itself in N and just banged the rev limiter...
This gives me PTSD reading, I wont expose but there have been a few members of this forum that have done it to me on steering wheels and it really really sucks, and people who work with me know I do anything and everything to fix issues, but sometimes people go into it planning on doing a...
OP, do not step foot back into that shop. I would file a credit card dispute if they do not refund and report to BBB and various other review platforms. They knew exactly what they were doing and are trying to back pedal and play stupid, everything they sent you would take an intentional effort...
So ya definitely sounds a little well… anyone can technically custom tune a JB4, but no way to really know from here, maybe reach out to @Jesse DaBears as he is the jb4 expert, also there is no way to adjust burble, overrun/ pop setting with jb4 which makes me think he is full of it; physically...
Thank you so much! And yes Alcnatara does wear a little more than leather and does require a bit more upkeep, so I make sure to let people know but it does feel and look great!
Agreed one of the best mods you can do the platform and it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, easy DIY, total changes the look and feel of the car; no warranty issues etc etc
Owned a 2020 and now have a 23, night and day difference, I have driven MY21/22, and the 23 is still a lot better but is not night and day difference between 20 and 23, on top of being so much faster up top with the 6 port, the steering, diff and suspension tuning is much better setup in a 2023...
Ya I have heard the Eu cars are a bit of a mess stock, under powered, sound like nothing, etc etc. Shame you guys still get the 340hp engine. An exhaust and XHP will wake it up a lot, add an intake for some nice turbo noises and throw in a nice set of coilovers and sway bars that will greatly...
I must say @Dinan_Engineering has been really knocking it out of the park. Lately, I think it is time to add some of their products to the site. Pricing on the exhaust is great too for a valved system with Dinans quality,
MST and Armaspeed both sound great, eventuri is a little on the quiet side for me, I have HKS and love it, the best intake in my opinion but it is definitely loud. CTS is a good one for the money too with the inlet pipe. Had that for a while on my 2020.
