Well there is this thread but not the one I'm referring to above...
https://www.supramkv.com/threads/has-anyone-had-their-brake-fluid-changed-by-toyota.14913/
Neither, just a service notification for brakes from what I remember. I saw another thread recently were an owner received a service notification because brake pad sensor tripped. I'll try to find it.
No, sorry for the confusion. The previous owner had the cold start turned off. I had the brake recall done so all settings were erased (ecu/bimmercode). I didn't know anything about the factory cold start "cycle", until I started it the morning after the recall.
Yes, sounds/feels terrible. but like I mentioned it goes away after about 30-40 secs into cold start cycle. It may have always done this but the setup (done by a previous owner), prior to brake recall had eliminated the factory cold start cycle.
I do have an expected CEL because of the DP. As for an unrelated code, I don't know. I don't have anything to read codes at the moment. The real problem is, I don't know what has been modified other than the exhaust system. It did have a tune (I assume, don't know which or by who) but that was...
I can see both points. However, the vibration is only during cold start. Once the cycle is over I can rev higher and to the same levels without the vibration. I will have to figure a way to trouble shoot the exhaust is touching
Did you get a lot of vibration during the factory cold start cycle after DP install?
I have cattless DP which was installed prior to purchase. I took it in for the recall which wiped the cold start elimination so now I get vibration during cold start. It goes away after the cycle completes but...
Will a JB4 help eliminate a what I assume is an exhaust back pressure issue from a cattless DP and cat-back exhaust or is this only related to the Bolt-on components? My supra vibrates crazy load and runs a little inconsistent (best why I know how to describe) during the factory cold start...
Anyone know if Toyota/dealership provides some type of notification the warranty (or a portion of), is void other than a on the spot denial of claim? I only ask because I bought a 2020 with a flash tune (which I was unaware of even though I specifically asked), only to find out when I took it in...
I've been interested in this topic. Was thinking of a DIY for the stock bar for esthetics. However, I may just order one of these. Does the creaking noise subside with the aftermarket bar?
