I have a 2021 3.0 premium. I have driven 5,500 miles currently. I’ve taken it to the track 4 times accumulating just over 600miles and 7.5 hrs under a combination of full-throttle and full braking. My only changes from stock have been track tires and wheels, track brake pads, and track brake...
My apologies if this sounds obvious but...
Did anyone try applying a little downward pressure to the hatch while simultaneously pressing the unlatch button?
Yeah, the point of the post is pointing out that not so easy to see detail, and the earlier replies are just jokes, not necessarily that they don’t also notice the crease.
It’s definitely a crease and not residue from the factory wrap. I think that’s pretty clear in my picture. Go check it out on your car. Unless I’m still misunderstanding your point still.
I’m not sure what your point is. I’m just saying I never noticed it was creased before the light hit it that way. It always looked like a smooth curve...
Sitting in the garage drinking beer and I noticed this crease on the rear fender when the sun hit it just right. No doubt it is there to facilitate welding but kinda’ cool to see how it integrates into the door...
There will probably be a check-in around 7 to 7:30-ish and a drivers meeting around 8-8:30-ish, possibly slightly earlier. We will get more specific info probably the monday or tuesday before the event.
If you have any questions or want more specific/updated info contact the Supra NASA...
Yeah, I've been holding out on paying $150-ish for these aftermarket carbon fiber stick on deflectors you see everywhere, mostly because I've only owned my car during the cooler winter months but also because I keep hoping someone puts out a cheaper shiny black plastic one that matches the...
I don’t want to frighten you from getting the Tacoma, I’m just being as honest as possible. Other trucks with more capacity will be more satisfying on those relatively infrequent days you actually do tow your car but, the Tacoma gets the job done no problem and with plenty of safety in reserve...
I’m commenting without researching this first but I’ve seen the different recommended tire pressures with each new engine start. Since we don’t have the typical Toyota tire pressure reset button that locks in a pre-set reference tire pressure, I believe the computer is using tire pressure at...
I was hoping to have all my SPL suspension links installed but COVID has thrown a wrench into those plans... Still bone-stock everything with one huge exception and a few minor ones...
Hoosier R7's front and back on Titan7 T-S5's,
Tire sizes are 265/35r19 front, 295/30r19 rear, 44psi hot...
I tow my Supra with a 2018 Tacoma 4X4 TRD off road 6' bed. It gets the job done but the main problem is the current 3.5L's Atkinson cycle it uses for fuel savings. If you keep it revving, power is okay but otherwise it's not fun. Stopping and all the other aspects are fine, just nothing in...
The carbotech XP20’s I’ve been using would work fine for a drive to the track and they come front and rear. The not for road use disclaimer is for excessive wear as far as I know and even though the temp range is high they bite friggin’ hard even when cold. They do have the metal-on-metal sound...
Regarding the SPL control links, I called SPL directly and asked them what I needed for front and rear camber adjustment... For the front, the front Lower Control Arms for camber adjustment, the sway bar end links for clearance issues created by the LCA’s, and the adjustable caster rod bushings...
Stock springs and dampers. Only thing I've done is changed fluids, wheels/tires, and brake pads. I ordered several SPL control links mainly so I could adjust camber and I'll be installing them this weekend. I have no intention of changing anything else at this point. Maybe I go with a...
