  1. Bimmerlink opening exhaust valve

To be clear, Bimmerlink doesn't change the default settings for the exhaust valve. The Bimmerlink app must be open and connected to your vehicle's OBD system for the valve to be opened/closed. Anytime your Bimmerlink app isn't open and connected to your OBD port, the car resumes it's default...

Awsome, thanks for the feedback and that's good to hear. I didn't walk over to see you until after you left but I did see you as the only Supra over there, lol. There were about 7-8 Supra's over on the track side. Definitely a good time.
  3. Trackday VLOG: StudioRSR Team Trackday!

I’m coming out of an S2000 and into a 2021 Supra. Maybe the ā€˜21 fixes are the reason but I found the Supra very easy and very predictable at the limit. I hear the complaints and I’ve seen videos like the Throttle House video re-testing in the A91, but that hasn’t been my experience. I did 2.5hrs...
  4. Thunderhill Feb 20-21

I'm not doing the auto-x, I'm doing open track HPDE. I look forward to seeing ya there!

Thanks for the feedback! Are you autocrossing with Speed SF? I'm on the waitlist for Sonoma Feb 6 with Speed SF but I'm not holding my breath. Edit: I just checked, I'm in for Sonoma Feb. 6th with Speed SF open track! See ya there!

Awesome! I've been trying to get a good answer to what the maximum tire size is for the stock suspension under hard track use. It sounds like the back limit might be as high as 305/30R19 and I've heard the front limit on stock suspension is 265/30R19 or 275/30R19. I've been told that 265/35R19...

Nice, looking forward to meeting up with other Supra owners. Like you, I REALLY hope it doesn't rain! I did one track day in the rain at Sonoma years ago and it completely sucked. My car doesn't have any real mods, just prepped for aggressive track use. In other words, I changed brake fluid...
  8. Thunderhill Feb 20-21

Hell yeah, I'm signed up for both days too.
  9. Thunderhill Feb 20-21

Anyone signed up for the NASA track day at Thunderhill Feb 20-21?
  10. Shaking after 40 MPH

Do a ā€œroad forceā€ tire balance. If there is an issue with the wheels or tires it will detect it. Road force tire balancing is available almost anywhere but for some reason many places don’t mention it. With low-profile tires like ours, it should be something you request with every tire balancing.
  11. TPMS for the Supra

Bottom line, The Supra needs TPMS valves using the Euro spec 433MHz frequency to display individual tire pressures.
  12. TPMS for the Supra

"Depending on the type of TPMS system the vehicle is equipped with, it will require one of two different frequency sensors. Either a 315 MHz sensor or a 433 MHz sensor will be needed. The two are not interchangeable. You will need to install a sensor with the correct frequency which corresponds...
  13. Warming up Supra

Absolutely no harm in allowing your Supra to warm up before driving away. However, it’s not great for the environment, and environment is what that mis-understood advice is aimed to protect, not your Supra.
  14. Pics & Vids of Supra with aftermarket wheels

Did you run that specific wheel/tire combo on stock suspension before the mods? I plan to track the car with 265/35-19f, 285/35-19r and I'm concerned about rubbing.
  15. Cheap Track Tires

Which Titan7 19s are you running? I've been searching for an extra set of track wheels and I'd like to mount Hoosiers but I'd run pretty much any of the aggressive R-comp tires that'd fit. I've had my eye on the Titan7 T-S5's which will fit 265/35-19f and 295/35-19r but I'm concerned about...
