Whoops!...was just a thought to add to our curiosity!

In 1997 it was 15yrs...in 2022 it'll be 40; I was speculating whether Toyota would release the Alpha car for this 40th Anniversary

I never knew why 1997 was a yr for an anniversary but it existed in Toyota's mind...I was just counting from 1997 to see when the next critical yr would be. From what I could tell, it wasn't until 1982 that the Supra became a distinct model separate from the Celica...1982-1997 would be 15yrs! -...

@PerformanceSound @A70TTR Just a thought...the Alpha cars' production may be some time away to give room for the A90 to have its exposure to the market. I was thinking...the last time there was a special edition Supra, it was in 1997 for the 15th anniversary...the next monumental anniversary...

That pic comparison still gets me! It's crazy how they masked how similar the MKV is to the FT-1 from the beginning when it looked rather fat and frumpy!

Being how similar Toyota kept the MKV to the FT1 concept, I'm hoping the Alpha car we're all anticipating has a similar wing to the concept as well!...even with the active wing being out the window, I think a stationary version would fit the body lines well!

Always being a big fan of the traditional MKIV Supra spoiler, I think something similar would be too robust for the A90 MKV. Keeping weight in mind I think something along these lines might be more feasible! Thoughts?!
