Thanks for that reply. I live for details like that.. see if you can find some. Itâll be awesome.
Given what you just said about What Suzuki San wanted for A90 (back then), what are his thoughts on Toyota sharing a chassis with something totally outside the Japanese realm of things?
Gauging from my Dadâs BMW, itâll retain your setting and you wonât have to set them everytime you get back in the car. However my IS350Fsport would never retain the setting once I shut it down. Maybe this is one thing Toyota changed... lol
MKIVs nick name from most A70 owners was jelly bean. Yes, lots of folks donât like the looks of the 90s rounded look of most Toyotaâs back then. Previa, Camry, Paseo comes to mind with that design language of being round round round.

Bro.. calm down. Sales and market perception over time will show Toyota what saving a meaningless penny will yield them.
Itâll be a BMW with BMW issues and over time people will walk away from them like the previous gen M cars. Most of them end up in junk yards or insurance...
Rotaries are unique to their RX line up of cars and Cosmos. Not.. for the Miata. Mazda did a bang up job in bringing back the Miata in the ND guise. Yes, they also partnered with FCA to minimize expense.. they didnât use a fiat motor or vice versa.
Using the same motor and a different skin is...
Hey.. I didnât make up any rules. Just saying.. a mainstream manufacturer using another makeâs engine for their flagship.
Iâm perfectly fine with this car.. just donât capitalize on the name âSupraâ to make money on a project that shows nothing of what Toyota can do besides âhey we know how to...
But they never got their rotary from anyone else.. their own identity. Their own tradition.
Mazda was owned by Ford at one point. So it was forced down their throats.
Their flagships never used anything Ford.. example.. RX7, 929 etc. even then itâs not the same comparison. Stop. Just stop...
Small boutique car company.. not the same caliber of things. Try again.
Astonâs used a version of Fordâs engines when they were under the PAG umberala.
Pagani / McLarens are small boutique car company.. not quiet the same as using a standard issue B58 from another manufacturerâs lineup. Try...
Ahh.. I havenât seen their lineup for a while. Regardless. Itâs not the flagship car. .. people lease them and throw them away. Begging for a motor on your flagship from another manufacturer is something entirely different.
Name another manufacturer that made a halo car with another...
