25 K - 30K dealer tax for a launch.. that's incredible but with the first one going for 2.1 million, expected
10 -15K for non launch model mass production model. You'd have to be a die hard supra fan or special kind of stupid to pay that.
Almost all dealers in the area told me the same thing as groove - no idea and that's why they're not taking money. I think the guys at Stevinson are probably just trying to create hype for the inevitable dealer surcharge.
in no particular order:
Pros:
1. Looks
2. fast (enough for me)
3. reasonably priced
4. Base model is still nicely equipped
Cons:
1. No manual. - this was the biggest let down by far
2. paddles should have been attached to the column
3. Interior is a bit meh
4. fake vets. sooo...
Stevinson Toyota here in Colorado. West is taking deposits but no guarantee on pricing, which is silly. East doesn't seem to think the car will materialize this year.
Had a salesman tell me today they aren't expecting the Supra (at all) until 2020, so they're not taking deposit or making a list. Had a salesman from another branch of the same dealer say they are taking orders. lol.
