I would love to see the data if you do happen get a snorkel. It definitely helps keeping the temp creep down. Before my DIY snorkel, I couldn't break under 121F w/ 100 ambient. After the install, I was able to see 11X numbers. I can't even imagine what numbers you'll see with your setup.

All in all, unless you're pushing lots of power, I see no benefit running CAIs other than sound. If you do happen to stick with CAIs, maybe pair it with a snorkel to give it a source of fresh clean air to help aid the cooling.
