I agree with you. A lot of people have similar problem. Just some oil residue. But if the seal is bad i would see smoke from exhaust and car not performing as well. Which I don't have.
Not really denying, I have tooken out my intake and chargpipe and inspected couple times already, there is no oil leaking from the turbo. A little oil n the chargepipe is normal its part of the PCV System.
Are you running pure800 or stock turbo? If your are running pure800 what catch can set up...

It is reliable. The oem turbo also builds up some oil in the bottom chargepipe. This process is normal becuase of the bypass from the PCV. The Turbo is not leaking oil at oil its just more oil buildup compared to oem since I am pushing more and therefore there is more pressure
I mean, I spoke directly with Pure and many tuners. This is normal to have the build up ESPECIALLY on the B58s. Not sure why you think its the turbo. Unless you are more knowledgeable than PureTurbos and the tuners.
Spoke with pure and titan motorsport. They said to cap it where it connects to the inlet this will also help from oil going into the intake. I guess we will always have oil build up. Since it is a bmw
I just watched a YouTube video saying that if you want to get rid of all the oil buildup, we need to get a kit that completed the deletes the PCV system and it’s set to vent to atmosphere
I think when you install the catch can both for pcv and ccv side of it it should help. As the oil is getting passed through the PCV and the bypass is leaving oil in the intake inlet and Chargepipe. My tuner said it will help and called pure turbo as well and they said it will help.
pure also...
When I rub my hand where the turbo and charge pipe connect there is a little oil there. So I took out the charge pipe and intake and that's where the oil was coming. its from the PCV and CCV by pass. These cars have this issue especially when upgrade your turbo and it consumes more oil it ill be...

Since I upgraded the turbo I have some build oil in the lower charge pipe piece. There is also some oil around where the charge pipe connects to turbo. I checked under my car...
my car is significantly smoking, spoke with my tuner, he said it could be the PCV. My oil is good been checking everyday, temps are good and logs are good.
