We GT-R owners never got bored with the DCT. 600whp while running borderline 9 second 1/4 miles never got boring even in full auto ripping down the track. Most of us sold our GT-R's because the next power level from FBO/E85 cost another $20,000+ to run another 150-200whp. More importantly, every...
Facts are just that, facts. They cannot be refuted therefore how can they be anything to the contrary? The LF-LC codename 950A at the 2012 Detroit Auto show was merely a reveal of a prototype in the making and was NOT an official debut smart guy. Calty Design Research were the ones who brought...
Thank you! I'm not sure but I don't think a turbo kit will be much better than the existing RR Racing super charger kit that most RC-F are running. The problem isn't tuning in the RC-F it's the curb weight. It's over 4,000 lbs. Newer Lexus models are definitely solid cars, great sound deadening...
The concept LF-LC debuted in Tokyo 2015 which later became the LC500 released in mid to late 2017. Again, TT V8 from Lexus was all but wishful and speculative editorialists and journalists exaggerating tidbits of leaked yet misconstrued information and blowing smoke for reader engagement. This...
True. I feel more comfortable knowing after I start making 600+whp that my spoiler won't end up in the highway a few miles back shattered after a nice pull.
You probably have read speculated rumors spread amongst the many online automotive publications for years but it wasn't until 2018 that plans for a TTV8 for an LC-F were seriously considered. The LC-F has been green lighted however, knowing Lexus they will arrive to the party with yet another...
Ah yes. I wanted to do that with my friend's Rexpeed and my TRD before installs but he had installed his already. The Rexpeed is still a nice piece and to an untrained eye side by side they couldn't tell the difference really between the two. I just like knowing I have genuine TRD on the car.
I'm not convinced Rexpeed spoiler is dry carbon. It's definitely cleared with an epoxy and does not look to be infused either upon close inspection. It would most definitely fall into the Painted process listed below. Don't know anyone offering dry carbon for that cheap LOL.
Painting:
No...
I have been waiting on the TRD parts for the A90 ever since I saw the leaked photos from Japan of the TRD carbon aero kit for the MKV Supra. I was able to buy the TRD carbon mirror caps through a U.S. Toyota dealer however, the front lip, side skirts, rear spats and the duckbill spoiler are not...
This has been news for 2 years now. Nothing new. Speculated LC-F with a 4.4L V8TT, a 4.0L V8TT and even a revision of the 5.0L 2UR-GSE currently in the LC500. I have been sitting on 525hp NA on my 2018 LC500 for 2 years now with no tuning capabilities by a similar OTA software system that GM...
Proper? Discussion regarding a slipping transmission which is what hindered progress with the OP's build is what prompted discussion regarding preferable choice of transmissions here. It's still relative. Shared posts about wish lists of cars people are considering buying in the late future are...
There's nothing else to read on this thread topic at this time as the OP stated they are waiting on a TCM tune because the transmission was slipping. Fortified crank, forged pistons & rods with a bigger turbo and the boost cranked up isn't something new here for the A90. Papadakis went over...
I disagree. Why would any micro business waste finite resources, time and money on parts/kit that would barely sell enough units to break even on?
No one is forcing or commanding you to like the evolution of automotive technology. You most certainly don't have to own or even drive an automatic...
A manual swap on a MKV Supra was already done by European Auto Group and it's a disaster. The first imbeciles to make a factory car run slower and less reliable than it's factory auto transmission for the sake of views and followers on Youtube. Toyota from what was stated will not be releasing a...
