I had the same mindset a couple of years ago when I traded my 2013 WRX hatchback in for the Civic Sport hatchback. I know a couple of people that have the Civic Type R and love it, and having driven it, I understand why. But I still could not justify spending twice as much for the Type R.

I was planning on storing mine, but depending on the weather and the amount of road salt, I'll probably be using mine as conditions permit. I'm pretty sure I'll be getting a CTEK-40-206 for Christmas for when the car is sitting though.

I picked mine up on October 5th and just broke 2000 miles. I've been daily driving it as much as possible and enjoy the car much more than I thought I ever would. Fortunately no issues and hopefully it stays that way.

Thanks for the reply. How does the car handle with the 245/45-19's on the stock rear wheels? I'm in New England so the winters can be pretty unpredictable from year to year. Either way, I don't plan on using the car in anything more than light snow..
