Snow tires - Would running 255/35R-19s on all 4 corners be safe and effective?

I can get a pretty good deal on a slightly used set of 4 255/35R-19 Pirelli Winter Sottozero Serie II Run Flats, but wasn't sure if it would be a good idea to go with a square vs staggered setup. What are everyone's thoughts and past experiences, if any, with doing this?

Thanks!

I think they'd have to go on a more square wheel setup with 19x9s with a 32mm offset, but am not completely sure. Looking at wheel prices, even with a good deal on winter tires, the wheels themselves may still make this not worth my while.

depends on how much snow you get. I am running 245/45/19 on the stock wheels and its stretched in the rear but we get max 10 snow days a year.

Thanks for the reply. How does the car handle with the 245/45-19's on the stock rear wheels? I'm in New England so the winters can be pretty unpredictable from year to year. Either way, I don't plan on using the car in anything more than light snow..

No. You want narrow tires in the snow so they bite into it instead of floating on top. I'd do a 225 squared setup on like 8 inch wide wheels. 255 is way too wide for the weight of the Supra in the snow.
