OEM Tires (255/35 and 275/35) on 10J & 11J wheels Respectively

As the title suggests, has anyone used the OEM tires on wider wheels, particularly the 255/35 on 10J wheels and the 275/35 on 11J wheels?

How much of a stretch would it be?

Any cons?

Too much of a stretch … you’ll have a good amount of rim lip overhang. Not a good look.

It’ll work. I did it for a bit before moving to wider tires. Front will look fine but rear will look a fair bit stretched. Won’t look as crazy as others here will claim. No big adverse effect on handling. You can always check the recommended rim width by looking up the tire specs online.

My tires have less than 6 000 km on them so I'm not keen on buying a new set.
