Hi all,
I'm selling my Supra and clearing out garage space for the new car. These items are FREE for anyone willing to pick them up:
1. A set of OEM 19" bi-color wheels (pictures to follow). Wheels are cosmetically perfect: no scrapes, scruffs, scratches or curb marks. I just need them out...
I lean no on this one. 1) The miles do seem high for a 2022. 2) It's modified. 3) Most importantly, you want an MT, so you would be settling for an AT, and this is too much money to just settle.
None of these individually are deal-breakers, but all together, they say to me that you should...
One important nuance here: a company that is taking products into inventory has a different level of participation in the QC process than a drop-shipper (which is what most of the aftermarket industry really is). Few companies in the aftermarket industry have the capital to stock and maintain an...
Good point.
I don't think many people realize that a lot of Alibaba vendors are white label producers for brands they know, love, and trust. A large fraction, perhaps most, of the aftermarket parts available for this car--aero, exhaust, interior parts, suspension, turbos, wheels--are made in...
Agree. Honestly, Pure should've gone the other way and focused on making the 800/850 more reliable and better priced. The universe of Supra owners looking for a reasonably reliable and cost-effective 500-600 whp on pump gas is much bigger than the number looking to make 800+ whp. I am not...
I ran 295/35/19 for about a year on Apex 19x11 ET40 wheels with absolutely no issue. Either 305/30/19 or 295/35/19 works. I think even a 315/30/19 could possibly work but I've not tried it.
It's not a heavy lift to roll this car out if it is just some suspension upgrades and cosmetic stuff. It's much, much harder when emissions are impacted. Seems extremely doubtful the S58 (in any form, detuned or otherwise) is going into the A90. I would love to be wrong but best guess is the...
I've never understood Toyota's decision to use such mediocre OEM tires, especially when the excellent PS4S is a common OEM tire. The PSS left a considerable bit of performance on the table compared to a modern performance tire (let alone a Cup2). I guess I always figured it was the accountants.
Because they're a team with a lot of history in Formula 1 and Formula 1 is so integral to McLaren's identity IMO. Honestly, the manufacturers, except Ferrari, they come and go. Will Mercedes be in F1 in 10 years? Will Red Bull? Maybe, maybe not. But Williams and McLaren, I think they'll be...
Try to meet up with a local forum member with a catless car. That'll help you decide. That said, I'd never put catless on a street-driven A90 for the reasons Awales set out above. It smells atrocious and sounds pretty bad around town.
