Just to update after a couple thousand miles. Clutch is much better and had the clutch pedal bushing kit installed after 500 miles on the new clutch.
The increased pedal pressure does not do well with the plastic pedal. It was bending and causing issues for driving. The bushing kit has resolved...
This is my 2023 Supra 3.0 Premium MT.
I wrote a post about my OEM clutch issues, but other than that it’s been a solid daily driver. Only further mods I’d do beyond this is an Adro body kit.
Modifications include the following:
- MST V2 intake/turbo inlet pipe
- Dinan catback exhaust
-...
it needed to be stretched, and you need a staple gun to replace the original boot on the OEM ring. Took me about 40 minutes to get it fit to my liking, but it wasn’t bad.
I have a Likewise Nad Pro knob with a BFI boot. Works great and looks very nice. The stainless steel knob doesn't get hot in the sun either. Perfect weight and makes the shifter feel better.
I was looking into this as well and according the the G80 forums it wont fit our cars. Was designed for the last generation. Can't confirm though as I haven't actually tried it.
Yes. The parts only go on the pedals themselves and replace the oem plastic parts. Shouldn't matter what clutch is in there.
It definitely helped with the increased pressure plate force
This is what I used. Worked great and I think its the only option.

I paid someone to install it because I didn't have time to do it myself. Doesn't look easy to remove the...
I had this issue when I put in a clutch master kit.
The cheap plastic BMW uses for their pedals is the issue.
If you install the CM pedal bushing kit. It resolves the problem completely. Itll be able to handle the pressure of the new clutch and allow the rev match feature to work.
I run 15mm all around with a square set up of rear OEM wheels. They were great even on OEM specs and improved the aesthetics. Dinan spacers + extended lugs
I have a set of FOUR front wheels from a 2023 Supra.
I had bought a second set of wheels and used all the rears on my car. This is a set of the front wheels only. All are 19x9. Great for a square set up!
Tires have plenty of life on them. One pair was driven for 10,000 miles, the other pair...
I've been having the rattles behind the glovebox as well. Has anyone figured out the solution for that one particularly? It makes me want to Van Gogh myself.
Update:
Before trying the bypass, I handed it off to Toyota to see what happens. I picked it up today and they ended up finding that the battery health was bad and replaced it.
Did that fix the issue? I am not sure yet. It did not start when I drove it earlier but did start on the second press...
Someone had mentioned to bypass the clutch switch but I didn't consider it a serious option as I had no idea how to do it.
Just stumbled upon this last night https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1099239
I like to think I'm competent enough to do this so I'll update when the parts...
Correct, wont crank. Screen says depress clutch pedal to start. The pedal is indeed plastic. Im not sure if there is any adjustment for that switch. This is what we replaced (https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/vemo-bmw-clutch-switch-61319231129)
When it does start, it cranks and starts up...
He took a look at it and couldn't figure it out. The issue is that the car won't start because it cannot detect if the clutch pedal is depressed.
The issue only is apparent when it is hot outside and the car has been sitting in the sun. The car will start if it is cool outside (morning/night)...
I have the FX400SS 8puck but it has less than 50 miles on it due to other issues right now. (https://www.supramkv.com/threads/clutch-slipping-issues-and-warranty-denial.22940/)
For now the pedal is much stiffer than I'd like as I daily the car. I haven't broken it in yet so I will get back to...
I've made a full post about my experience here for those who care to read.

1) Image at the end of this post. They told me 8500 over the phone so I went in today to get the quote on paper. Parts are 4966 and the service guy said they charge 10 hours labour which is 2800 =$7766 which is less the phone quite but still too much. My mechanic did it for 800 labour since we...
