I had a dual disk clutch installed and ever since the rev match doesn’t work. It seems to be due to the new clutches difference in location when activated. The old one was almost to the floor to activate the clutch and the new one is right next to the brake pedal. Even to start the car I have to throw the clutch to the floor. Is there a way to electronically adjust the points that the car registers clutch engage and disengagement?

I think there is only a sensor with the clutch pedal that detects when the clutch pedal is engaged.

I don't think there is anything that detects clutch engagement.

If that’s the case, is it not possible to adjust said sensor?

I am not sure if that is possible and it is even more doubtful that it will have the desired effect on rev matching.

Are you sure the rev matching is activated in the settings?

I’m sure. It’s not activating because the clutch pedal doesn’t need to be pushed very far in to active the clutch itself. If I mash the clutch to the floor it works. The gap on the new clutch is so small and much farther out that the car would have to know to trigger the rev match with the clutch farther out. It does the same thing with starting the car. I have to throw my whole leg to the floor to get it to start.

The car probably uses the same switch for all of it's operations that first check if the clutch is depressed. So adjusting how much clutch travel that's needed for the car to register a declutch is to change the size of that button.

As a side note, I know that there is a Bimmercode code to avoid the car checking the initial clutch (and brake) pedal press on start up, but.. when I coded it, it almost bricked my car, so I’d avoid messing with it. ?

I had this issue when I put in a clutch master kit.

The cheap plastic BMW uses for their pedals is the issue.

If you install the CM pedal bushing kit. It resolves the problem completely. Itll be able to handle the pressure of the new clutch and allow the rev match feature to work.

I’m assuming this can be used with any brand clutch?
Yes. The parts only go on the pedals themselves and replace the oem plastic parts. Shouldn't matter what clutch is in there.

It definitely helped with the increased pressure plate force
