I have not. But I have recently noticed @Darth had one, that looked similar to the G80.

They 3rd pic really shows it; the first few threads are stripped.
Look for a tapkit on Amazon and re-tap the threads.
Don't upsize the whole. For Example, if this is an M14, then just get a M14 tapkit, not M14.1 or M15
Finally got a chance to check out the new M2.
I didn't get to drive it, but I did get a short ride. As passenger, it feels levels faster that the supra - more so since I am used to my slow shifting manual vs the the auto in this M2. The M2 startup is louder inside the cabin. The car also shakes...
I am a relatively amateur stick shift driver myself and was quite nervous and anxious whenever I had to get behind the supra. Now, with 2200 mi under my belt of mostly city driving, I can safely say that it is a delight using the stick.
That being said, I had the CDV delete done around 600...
My brother in law was just teasing me about his recently installed MGW shifter on his new S550.. :D
I sometimes forget that the manual on the supras is pretty bespoke and rare.
It's sad to think companies won't be motivated to spend on r&d for a such a niche group of people...
Oh lawd, I had...
On a side note, I test drove a friends MT cayman, and man was I left speechless by its shifter feel.
I always thought these journalists were full of fake praise and crap, but that cayman shifter feels like well-oiled, bolt action rifle; its smooth, mechanical, precise and short. There was no...
Logically thinking, I feel like rev-match would help preserve the clutch life in general.
However, smooth normal shifts, with a little extra clutch slip is probably more detrimental just because how often you end up shifting.
Also, I had no clue that iMT messed with upshifts. I'll need to test...
Ive never ran into another supra while in my own supra, but have seen 2 yellow ones get pulled over on I75 before >_<
I have also seen at total of 5 different supras around my area (toledo) which is a little surprising lol.
Not a single MT tho, so thats cool :D
Upsize the drain hole from a M12 to M14 with a tap, and replace the M12 drain plug with a valved M14x1.5. At least that way you arent doing to worry about stripping the stupid weak threads again lol.
Time-serts are also an option, but taking a drill pit into a pan seems scary.
What your asking about it a clutch stop. I made a thread about it a few weeks back and got a whole lot people telling me avoid it like the plague lol..

Hidden Motorsports, out in Maumee (probably about an hour or so from you), is pretty well known for BMW / Supra modifications out here as well.
I had them install my E90 slave on mine.
Exactly, I thought I would be able to notice the synchros grinding, within the first 10 or so shifts if the clutch stop was too high up.
I am still quite conflicted about it. The BMW guys i spoke to all say a clutch stop is fine, and many of them have it. On the other hand, my JDM guys all are...
