I dont think we have the GPF in local cars (yet), which I understand EU cars do have?
Do the Euro cars do away with the crackles and so forth?
One thing I noticed that the exhaust valves on the RHS tip seem to be always open aside from cold start it is closed.
I found that strange as I had...
Hey folks,
I am located in Australia, where our cars only just got released.
They have been here for 2 months as press/media cars, but when I drove them, they sounded same as the USA videos I have seen.
Mine was the first customer car delivered in Australia, it is a May 2019 build, but the...
Drive day was incredible. I let Harry Bates do a lot of the driving since he certainly knows the track and gave me an idea what the car can do.
I dont know how well the live stream i did was, people complained it was very choppy.
Main questions you might be interested in knowing:
** Warranty...
Official date seems to have been pushed back to 7th.
I'll be at the media track day on Monday, who stream it to our Twitch channel - http://twitch.com/streetfx
If anyone has any questions I'll be able to answer them on the day.
Will be taking them around Phillip Island
I haven't got my car yet (they aren't available in Australia yet), but I have these GR Supra keyrings that I need some pics of with them in front/inside a vehicle with the A90 key attached.
Hoping to get a couple of pics of them with each colour of Supra.
There are two colours...
I got a call tonight saying the confirmed release is 4th September.
This is great for getting the car sooner but makes it unlikely that my White A80 will be painted in time to do a bit of content driving down to pick up the new car..
I have a grey Aero TT I could use as backup, but that car is...
Where did you see that?
I tried the configurator for USA and UK and neither gave interior options aside from "black leather".
I'd be annoyed if I paid an extra 4k For soemthing that is the lower optjom elsewhere..

As titled, is everyone tuning theirs utilising a factory built in flex fuel sensor or just reflashing their ECU with a known ethanol content?
Hoping they have factory flex fuel support for ethanol maps.
I couldn't see this answered or asked previously. Apologies if it already was.

Australia had a limited allocation of 100 cars.
They launched the online ordering system and they were sold out within 6 minutes.
Anyone "lucky enough" to get in quickly had to put $1000 down. That put them in a queue to receive a call over the coming 2 weeks, whereby they would lock in your...
I originally ordered red, but changed to yellow when the Supra concierge called asking me to lock in colour and pay the second deposit.
So very glad I did.
Saw the A90 today for the first time at Goodwood.
If I am being honest, I buy my cars to get a bit of attention. Nobody was paying any...
Spoke to the dealer this morning, supposedly 300 units til Sept 2020, and an additional 300 til Sept 2021.
Would be interesting to see if they actually stick to that and keep them exclusive.
Cheers :)
That 86 was only ever supposed to be "wheels and coilovers".. then it just got out of control :/
I also dislike that Toyota badge. If it has one it's the first thing to come off I tell ya.
Got the call today. Which was thankful as i am heading to Goodwood this week and I was worried id be on a plane and miss the call .
Belinda gave me a choice of red if I wanted to wait til October for delivery or yellow if I wanted September delivery.
I had been intending to switch to yellow...
So the MKIV wasn’t a Supra then since they “didn’t have a transmission”, considering getrag made it.. or the rest of Toyota’s lineup being Aisin.
Toyota no longer make a straight six. There are no other cars in their catalogue that use it may utilise that layout. If they were to develop a new...
A purely subjective opinion. Read through the posts, some people wholeheartedly disagree. When a new generation of car comes out, there are always polarising opinions.
Every modern sports car and supercar controls throttle, steering, and gear shifts electronically.
In fact it’s known to...
McLaren F1: BMW engine
Koeniggsegg: Ford engine
Aston Martin: Ford engine
Lamborghini: Audi engine
Pagani: Mercedes engine
Lotus: Toyota engine
Nobel: Volvo engine
Brabham BT62: Ford engine
Next question... I'm waiting... ;)
I don't think many Supra owners were hanging onto their 20 year old car waiting for the day to buy the new one.
If a MKIV owner does buy one I don't see it as being a "replacement" for them, it would more likely be another car. Keep the old one for the mods they've probably done over the past...
